The show takes a GI Joe-inspired approach to its storyline. With M. Bison's Shadaloo crime syndicate threatening the world, Guile puts together a team of elite world warriors like Chun-Li, Blanka, Ryu, and more to take him down. Of course, the series was also designed to be something of a toy commercial, but it's still a fun relic from a bygone age of entertainment. To flesh out your Street Fighter Blu-ray collection, you can pick up a couple of films based on the long-running fighting game franchise. The 1994 live-action movie starring Raul Julia as M. Bison and Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile is still the best of the bunch thanks to its many quotable lines. You can pick it up in either a standard Blu-ray format for $10.33 (was $15) or in a premium Steelbook Edition that's on sale for $25 (was $35), and is perfect for displaying alongside your painting of M. Bison Crossing the Alps. There's also a new 4K remaster of Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie that's on sale for $26.37 (was $35), which has been seen as a massive influence on the series thanks to its stylistic action and groundbreaking animation.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the Switch 2 since its official announcement has been focused on the price of the console and its games--some believe the prices are simply too much.In an interview with PlayerDriven, former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden said Nintendo can charge what it wants for new first-party Switch 2 games because Nintendo makes compelling games. Some people might perceive the price increase for a game like Mario Kart World ($80) as being "hefty," Layden said, but in the end, people will buy it anyway."If it's the only place where you can play Mario, then you get your wallet out and you buy into it... and Donkey Kong and Zelda. That first-party exclusivity kind of mitigates the sticker shock, if you will, of these price hikes, because you want that content so bad," he said (via IGN).Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Anyone familiar with Nintendo's favorite gourmand Kirby knows that the pink blob has an insatiable appetite. Ordinarily, a little bit of gluttony isn't a bad thing, but in Kirby's case, it has quite the transformative effect on him--quite literally! We've already seen the little fella gulp down an entire Nintendo Switch controller, so it's only natural he decided to eat a gaming headset. PowerA's new Kirby Mouthful Wired Stereo Headset sold out quickly when it launched earlier this year, but it's back in stock for $30 at Amazon. PowerA Kirby Mouthful Wired Headset for Switch $30 PowerA's Kirby Mouthful Wired Stereo Headset is part of the third-party manufacturer's series of officially licensed over-ear headphones themed around popular franchises. Naturally, the main draw here is the cool design that makes it look like Kirby swallowed a gaming headset. The underside of the cushioned headband features a colorful collage of characters from the Kirby universe. The left earcup shows Kirby preparing to inhale the headphones, while the right earcup displays Kirby's "mouthful" face.As for the audio specs and performance, these are basic 3.5mm stereo headphones with 50mm dynamic speaker drivers and a detachable boom mic. There are much higher-performing wired headsets with customizable audio features for similar prices, including the Razer BlackShark V2 X for $35 (was $60) and the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 for $49 (was $60). But if you love Kirby or are looking for a stylish lightweight headset for a younger gamer, PowerA's Kirby Mouthful headset is quite charming.PowerA's Nintendo Switch HeadsetsKirby Mouthful -- $30Mario Kart Rivals -- $23.49 ($30)Pokemon Kanto Friends -- $30Fortnite: Llambro (includes Glyphic emote) -- $30Fortnite: Drift (includes Signal Override Wrap) -- $30The Kirby design is the best of the bunch from PowerA, but there are several other options also priced at $30 or less. No one is doing more for mascot platformers than Toys for Bob. Since 2018, the formerly Microsoft-owned studio has released the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4, and Crash Team Rumble, reinvigorating two beloved but largely stagnant franchises. Now, Toys for Bob co-studio head and creative director Paul Yan says the studio has its eyes on another iconic platforming series: Banjo-Kazooie.In a recent interview with CanadianGuyEh--which was then reported by Windows Central--Yan discussed Toys for Bob's upcoming projects. On top of seemingly teasing a new entry in the Spyro the Dragon series, Yan expressed the team's desire to work with Xbox on bringing back the dynamic bird and bear duo, Banjo-Kazooie."One company we'd like to work with is one we're already working with--Team Xbox! They've been a great partner and they also have a very interesting roster of characters that Toys for Bob could have a lot of fun with. The honey bear is the first one that comes to mind--I think we can all agree Banjo's been hibernating long enough, right?" Yan said.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the breakout stars from Mario Kart World is the cow, and now a critical piece of information has come to light about the creature. As it turns out, the cow can eat its own kind in the Switch 2 game--and it seems to enjoy this.As the new Mario Kart World trailer showed us, Mario can chomp down on a giant three-decker burger to morph into a different version of himself. With the cow being a new racer for Mario Kart World, some wondered if the cow, too, could eat a burger. IGN confirmed that this is possible, but there are still plenty of unanswered questions. For one, we don't know what the burger is made of. Though burgers are commonly made of beef, it's not the only possibility. A burger is just one of many items that players can obtain at Mario Kart World's Yoshi's diner locations. Some of the others are steak kebabs, pizza, and donuts.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Mario Kart World will justify its $80 price tag once Nintendo unveils everything there is to know about the game, according to Nintendo's Bill Trinen. Speaking to GameSpot, Trinen said Nintendo looks at each game on a case-by-case basis when it comes to pricing, which is why Mario Kart World is $80 and some other Nintendo Switch 2 games might cost less."We'll look at varying prices and things like that for software based off of just how robust the experience is," Trinen said, reminding us that there is an upcoming Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct on April 17 that promises to show off more of the game and its features.Trinen went on to say, "People will get to learn more about that game. And I think that as they start to learn more about that game, they're going to be pretty excited about the content that's offered there."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Switch 2's price was recently announced, and the $450 price tag was higher than some anticipated. It could grow higher still due to US President Donald Trump's controversial tariffs. Now, Nintendo's Bill Trinen and Doug Bowser have defended and explained the price point.Trinen told IGN, "Obviously, the cost of everything goes up over time, and I personally would love if the cost of things didn't go up over time." The Switch 2 has "new features and new tech," and this carries a cost, Trinen said."We look at what is the experience on Nintendo Switch? What's the experience on Nintendo Switch 2? What are the new features that it offers? And certainly there's the cost of goods and things that factor into that, but we try to find the right appropriate price for a product based on that," he said.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Switch 2 will not have a system-level achievement system like PlayStation and Xbox consoles do, but individual developers can decide to make them if they want.During the recent Switch 2 Nintendo Direct, we saw that the Switch 2 editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom feature new achievement systems. Some thought this meant the Switch 2 would broadly support achievements, but Nintendo's Bill Trinen told Polygon, "Nope."This is how it also worked with the original Switch.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Switch 2 includes a number of upgrades and improvements over the original Switch, but one thing has stayed the same. The Switch 2 carts remain coated in material that tastes very bad in an effort to help prevent children or animals from accidentally eating them.In an interview with GameSpot, Nintendo's Takuhiro Dohta confirmed that the gross-tasting coating returns for Switch 2 carts, adding that the goal was the same: "We don't want anybody to be at risk of any unwanted consumption. We have indeed made it so that if it enters your mouth, you'll spit it out."Anyone who licks a Switch 2 cartridge won't be harmed apart from having a bad tase left in their mouth, Nintendo said. We licked the original Switch cartridges and found them to taste very gross. We have not (yet) been able to conduct the same very important scientific research for Switch 2 cartridges. Whatever the case, we're going to take Dohta at his word for now. "I do not advise that you do," he said of licking a Switch 2 cartridge.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
