PlayStation's steadily growing library of PC ports don't receive meaningful discounts all that often, but many games in the publisher's catalog are included in Steam's annual Spring Sale. A bunch of titles are on sale for 50% off, including The Last of Us Part 1, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. But if you're interested in picking up a PlayStation PC game or two, you'll want to head over to Fanatical instead. Although Pokemon TCG Pocket has been extremely successful since its debut last year, not everything in the game is popular with players. Case in point, the trade tokens introduced in late January were met with an extremely negative response, in part because players had to destroy their duplicate cards to earn them. Now, the game's developers, Creatures Inc. and DeNA, have revealed that they will be getting rid of the trading tokens and replacing them with another in-game currency. As shared on Pokemon's official site, trade tokens will be completely removed from the game by this fall. In their place, shinedust will now be the currency used to trade cards. Any trade tokens that remain in players' collections after the switchover will be converted to shinedust.Shinedust will only be required for trades involving cards with three-diamond, four-diamond, or one-star rarity. However, the exact breakdown of the cost in shinedust wasn't disclosed. Shinedust is automatically earned when players get a card they already have registered in their Card Dex. Since Shinedust will be used for trades, the developers are looking into increasing the amounts that are given to players.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fields of Mistria's Caldarus romance is here at last, though getting the dragon guardian's affection takes rather a lot of work. His human form is tied to a new quest that requires several rare and valuable items, and you need to spend a lot of time in the mines before you can start it. Our Fields of Mistria Caldarus guide explains how to unlock Caldarus for romance and what his preferred gifts are.How to romance Caldarus in Fields of MistriaGood thing there's a local witch who specializes in breaking seals.Caldarus' human form and subsequent arrival on the stage of potential romance is tied to a lengthy quest introduced in Fields of Mistria's second major update, Breaking the Fire Seal. Getting to the point where you can begin the quest requires a fair bit of spelunking in the mines, as the tablet and the Fire Seal itself are buried deep in the mines, at level 60. You'll also need several emeralds, sapphires, and rubies during the quest itself, so make sure to set some aside asOnce you acquire the tablet, speak to Juniper at the bathhouse to start the quest. Once you break the seal, Caldarus will appear, adopt his human form, and expend all his energy rescuing you from the calamity that ensued after the seal broke. He's, understandably, a bit tired after that and retreats to his home in the Deep Woods to recover--but not before giving you a new spell, Dragon's Breath.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Dragon Ball action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is getting a new expansion later this year that celebrates the most recent anime series in the franchise, Dragon Ball: Daima. The expansion will roll out in two parts, with Part 1 launching September 2025 and Part 2 planned for March 2026. While fans who already own the game on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or PC can purchase the expansion as digital DLC, a new physical Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition is also launching later this year that includes the base game and the two-part Daima expansion in one package. No specific release date is confirmed for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition's physical release, but preorders for the PS5 and Switch versions are already available for $50 at Amazon. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition $50 | Releases TBA 2025 Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition will include the full base game on disc and a download voucher for the Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm expansion. No preorder bonuses have been confirmed for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition, but we'll update if anything is announced. While Amazon lists the game's release date as December 31, 2025, that is likely a placeholder, and we'll update once the actual launch date is confirmed. It's also worth noting that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot - Daima Edition will not include the five other Season Pass DLC expansions previously released for the game, meaning you'll have to pick those up separately if you want to experience those additional storylines. So far, only PS5 and Nintendo Switch are getting physical releases, though the digital version of the Daima expansion will be available for all other platforms, including PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Preorder at Amazon For the two-part Daima expansion, players explore the Demon Realm as Goku after he's shrunk down to his younger self. Goku's new companions from the Daima anime, Glorio, Shin, and Panzy, join the little Saiyan on his adventure to master new techniques and track down the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm so he can restore himself to his normal size and full power. In case you missed it when launched in 2020, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot retells several storylines from the manga and anime source material, starting with the Saiyan Saga and ending with the Majin Buu Saga, while expanding the universe with new content. Several DLC expansions followed the base game that add five additional chapters to play through based on the Battle of the Gods and Resurrection 'F' arcs from Dragon Ball Super, and an all-new campaign starring Trunks. The game combines the action-packed brawling of the franchise with light RPG mechanics like leveling up Goku, taking on side quests, and exploring the game's large zones. "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's modern, semi-open approach to telling the saga of DBZ--despite some minor issues--is a good one," Heidi Kemps wrote in GameSpot's review. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launched on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, followed by PS5 and Xbox Series X|S ports with enhanced visuals.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

When PowerWash Simulator debuted in 2022, it could have easily been just another chore game. Instead, the game's developer, FuturLab, infused PowerWash Simulator with its own mythology and a story with sci-fi elements that slowly plays out over the course of the game. Later this year, FuturLab is sending players back to Muckingham in PowerWash Simulator 2. And in the first teaser below, players will get a glimpse of some "soap-erior equipment" they'll be able to use to finally clean up this incredibly dirty town. The gnomes from the first game are briefly seen in the teaser as they unveil the sequel. While FuturLab didn't actually confirm another wild underlying story, it did mention that there will be a new campaign that allows players to uncover "more of Muckingham’s mysteries." PowerWash Simulator 2 will also introduce new locations, including Sponge Valley, Power Falls, and Lubri City.Players will get access to more-powerful cleaning tools, but the addition of a shared co-op campaign may allow the game's cleaning jobs to go even faster. Online play is supported, and there's even the option for split-screen cleaning action. Surprisingly, one of the other new features allows players to modify and customize their own homes with furniture and objects. According to FuturLab, players can even "invite your power wash pals over to check out your pad." However, that feature isn't glimpsed in the teaser.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

After almost nine years, Microsoft has announced a major milestone for the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative. There are now more than 1,000 games that support the feature, which lets people buy the title once and play it across Xbox platforms, Windows 10/11 PCs, and some PC gaming handhelds.Xbox Play Anywhere went live in September 2016, originally working between Xbox One and PCs. The feature also includes cross-save functionality and only works with digital copies of games. As a fun bit of trivia, the first Xbox Play Anywhere-supported game was ReCore, with Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, and Halo Wars 2 following behind it. While sounding similar, it's important to note that cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass is different from Xbox Play Anywhere.Microsoft has unveiled that there are more than 1,000 Xbox Play Anywhere-supported games. That means you can buy them on Xbox and then play them on PC or a PC gaming handheld for no extra cost."When we look at data for titles that are Xbox Play Anywhere enabled, these titles get 20% more gameplay because it's more flexible, because I can play on the go," said Xbox vice president of next generation Jason Ronald. Mentioning "on the go" is eyebrow-raising, especially after a report earlier this week pointing to a possible Xbox-branded handheld launching later this year.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Cozy farming sim Fields of Mistria received its v0.13.2 update today, March 13, and it delivers some small but significant changes to the game. This patch's biggest addition comes in the form of new items in the Lava Caves furniture set, which can be found in the Lava Caves biome, which was first introduced in the game's recent major update. The patch also increases the pickup range of essence particles, adjusts Louis' portrait positioning in the Relationship UI photo, and clarifies a detail of the Procuring the Sealing Scroll questline progression. In terms of bug fixes, this new patch makes Animal Sprite Statues lose Essence charge even when the player does not enter the Large Barn or Coop, squashes an issue that caused players to get stuck in a dive spot in the Deep Woods pond, and deals with two niche issues where certain interactions would cause rain to replace blizzard conditions in winter outside the Mines. There are a number of other additions as well, so check out the full patch notes below for yourself.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
