Developer Infinity Ward has released a small update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One that makes one big change: It nerfs the overpowered SP-R sniper rifle. The full patch notes are outlined below.The SP-R is Warzone's new sniper rifle as part of the Season 6 battle pass. Previously, the gun's "basically hitscan" nature allowed it to break armor with a single chest-shot and kill in a single headshot. Couple this with its high damage and mobility and the SP-R proved to be quite a threat at long-range. The new patch adjusts the sniper's ADS speed, flinch, and ammo and attachment attributes.In particular, the SP-R's flinch has been increased while its overall ADS speed has been decreased. The variable zoom scope attachment for the sniper has also had its ADS speed slightly reduced. Netflix's latest Adam Sandler movie is none other than Hubie Halloween, a film about a dim-witted man-child who is trying to protect the people in his town from the terrors of October 31. The movie is sitting at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, dropping 10 points from a day before, and overall reviews haven't been too kind. However, Hubie Halloween may be this bad on purpose.Back in 2019, Adam Sandler delivered a memorable performance in the movie Uncut Gems. Many people were speculating Sandler would win some sort of award for his role of jeweler Howard Ratner. Alas, when the Academy Award nominations came out, Sandler was not nominated. From there, Sandler went onto the Howard Stern Show and made a threat. "If I don't get [nominated], I'm going to f***ing come back and do one [movie] again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay," Sandler said. AMD has officially revealed its slate of Zen 3-powered desktop CPUs, skipping the 4000 series and jumping right into the new Ryzen 5000 series. The company revealed 4 new CPUs in total, boasting that the Ryzen 5900 is now the "world's best gaming CPU."The big difference with the new Zen 3 architecture is the increase in instructions per cycle, letting CPUs with the same core frequencies and core counts perform a lot better. Compared to Zen 2, which powers the current Ryzen 3000 series, Zen 3 achieves 19% more IPC, converting to an average of nearly 26% more performance in gaming alone when moving to the Ryzen 5000 series.The jump between generations alone is massive, but it's Intel's gaming crown that AMD really aimed for during the presentation. The flagship of the Ryzen 5000 series, the Ryzen 3950X, doesn’t match the Intel Core i9-10900K in sheer single-core speed (4.9Ghz vs. Intel's peak of 5.3GHz), but AMD's own benchmarks in a suite of games show the Ryzen inching ahead in most scenarios where the CPU is the bottleneck. Riot has released a trailer showing off the new Valorant agent Skye, a day after it revealed more information about Act 3, including news of the upcoming agent's delay. The new agent is named Skye, an Initiator-class from Australia. Based on the trailer and an early leak of her kit, she seems to be a healer who utilizes a number of animal-themed "trinkets" to track and control her enemies on the battlefield. She will be available on October 27 alongside patch 1.11.We haven't had an official look at Skye's kit yet, but a leak from a data miner credited as MrJack025 on Reddit provides more context for some of the abilities we see in the official agent trailer from Riot. One player has recreated the best hub world in gaming as a skate park in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2.Redditor and Super Mario Sunshine fan Gunderstank16 used the remake's park creator to replicate the layout of Delfino Plaza. It doesn't have the graphical charm of the original, but there are railings placed all around to help get over waterways and through tunnels.It took them four days to finish the park and they have plans to work on more Mario-themed maps if this one garners enough interest from skaters. InnerSloth is considering making dead players guardian angels who have the ability to save living players, similar to how the doctor role works in Mafia.The Washington-based studio wants to give players more to do after they die, citing players that leave right after dying because it's "boring" to play as a ghost. Ghosts, players who are killed by impostors or getting voted off the ship, can still complete tasks after death. Though its announcement trailer might not have made it completely obvious, it turns out Bugsnax is something of a narrative puzzle game. As you encounter grumpuses, the Muppet-like characters inhabiting the game's world, you'll pick up tasks to complete from each. Those tasks usually involve catching the titular bugsnax, creatures that are basically food with legs, by figuring out their behaviors and tricking them into traps.Though the game that Bugsnax has become is mostly about catching bugsnax and using them to feed grumpuses, that wasn't always the case. Developer Young Horses has been working on the game for about six years, and president Philip Tibitoski said in an interview with GameSpot that a whole lot of gameplay ideas have come and gone during that time. Some of them sound funny, some interesting, and some a little disturbing."Initially, there were always grumpuses and there were always bugsnax and you were always foraging for them," Tibitoski said. "And over time the mechanics have changed a lot. We've gone the Pokemon Snap route of actually being on a track and riding a little cart and capturing bugsnax as you go, we've had bugsnax preparation mechanics, Cooking Mama-style thing, because some of the mechanics we were looking into had to do with, like, sticker-peeling. And then we were talking about peeling parts of bugsnax to prepare them to eat, which was horrifying. The wait is finally over for fans of the Skybound comic series Invincible as Amazon Prime Video revealed the teaser trailer for the upcoming animated series of the same name.Unlike many other superhero animated series, this is not for kids. At times, Invincible is brutal, violent, and exceptionally bloody. There is a little taste of that violence in the video below.The comic was written by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and featured art by Ryan Ottley. It followed the adventures of 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who is the son of the most powerful superhero on Earth, Omni-Man. Mark learns he has powers of his own and that there's something more ominous at play within his house.
