Netflix has a new docuseries arriving on November 17 that explores what it takes to be a champion. It will explore events like chasing a wheel of cheese down a steep hill or a pepper eating contest. Check out all the events for yourself below. "We Are the Champions explores the quirkiest, most charming, and oddly inspirational competitions you never knew existed," reads the official synopsis. Destiny 2's base game adopted a free-to-play model in September 2019, giving players a vast amount of content to experience for no added cost at all. For a small fee though, players can experience Destiny 2 with the premium season pass, or they can grind for fewer rewards with the free season pass. With the launch of Beyond Light, comes a new season pass during the Season of the Hunt. Like previous instances, grinding your way through all 100 ranks will unlock rare resources, weapons, and armor. The main attraction is an Exotic shotgun called Duality, which has two firing modes: Shooting from the hip will fire a spread of deadly pellets while aiming down the sights will launch a lethal slug instead. The second unique perk to Duality is that getting a kill with pellets will grant you increased precision damage while landing a killshot with a slug will then increase the duration of the pellet-kill buff.Earning Duality is easy with the season pass. If you opt not to pay for the premium version you can unlock it at Rank 35. Duality will be instantly unlocked along with seasonal armor for your Guardian in the premium season pass. One of the newest features of both the Xbox Series S and Series X is Quick Resume. The feature allows players to switch between multiple games seamlessly by placing them into a suspended state, effectively reducing the waiting time to get back into the action. However, it seems the feature isn't universal, as a handful of games don't support Xbox Quick Resume. In our testing, there are at least three games that apparently don't work with Xbox Quick Resume. This includes Borderlands 3, Destiny 2, and Yakuza: Like A Dragon. Borderlands 3, for example, simply reloads from the start screen after being suspended. This contradicts Quick Resume's function, which picks the game up immediately from where players left it last. There may be other games that don't support Quick Resume as well. According to True Achievements, Dirt 5, Forza Horizon 4, NBA 2K21, The Falconeer, and Watch Dogs: Legion all supposedly don't work with the feature. Loading games on Xbox Series S/Series X is still speedy, but swapping away from and back to any of these titles may result in lost progress. The problem is compounded by the fact that players aren't warned before switching away from the games in question, so players can't be sure that Xbox Quick Resume is supported.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

It's been a while since we've heard anything about the Halo TV series in the works at Showtime. After going into production at the end of 2019, the making of the series was paused--like almost every other TV show and film--due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With shows and films slowly going back into production, we're finally getting some new and interesting information about the video game adaptation. It was originally revealed that Natasha McElhone (Californication) would take on the role of Dr. Catherine Halsey, the person behind the Spartan supersoldier program, as well as the artificial intelligence construct Cortana. After all, in the game Cortana is based on a cloned copy of Halsey's brain. However, a major casting change has taken place. While McElhone will continue playing the role of Halsey, she will no longer portray Cortana. According to a report from IGN, Jen Taylor--the actress that's played Cortana in all of the main Halo video games--will portray the blue AI character. It remains to be seen, though, whether Taylor will simply voice a CGI character or actually appear in-person on the show.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
