There are a lot of perks you can buy for your character in Cyberpunk 2077, allowing you to customize your version of V to fit your play style and the ways you want to approach the game. There's one perk, however, that you should absolutely avoid--at least in the early part of the game when you're trying to earn money. That perk is called "Scrapper," and it will rob you.You'll find the Scrapper perk under the Technical Ability attribute, on the Crafting skill tree. At first, it sounds useful enough. Scrapper allows you to automatically break down junk items into crafting components. Cyberpunk 2077 is littered with things that are considered "junk," like old vinyl records, ashtrays, packs of cards, lighters, and dildos. (It's worth noting that a recent update seems to have drastically reduced the number of dildos appearing in the game. For a while, though, there were so. many. dildos.)Most of the junk items you find in Night City really are junk, and if you check them out in your Backpack, you'll find that they're pretty worthless. Most junk items will net you about 3 Eurodollars (or "eddies" in Night City parlance), so they're basically not worth the effort you'd expend in picking them up and lugging them to a vendor to unload them. Fall Guys: Season 3 is bringing more than just new levels to the battle royale. The new season also adds crown ranks, a ranking system that focuses on how much players win. Rewards for winning more include new cosmetics like golden costumes."The more crowns you grab, the higher your crown rank rises," reads a post on the PlayStation Blog that revealed the new feature. "And with it, players will unlock a world of curious and highly desirable rewards, including exclusive colors and patterns to leave other players in no doubt of your commitment to the bean cause."One of the most coveted rewards will be golden variants for costumes from previous seasons, like the knight and hot dog outfits. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is rolling into Season 1 this week, which also means a new season for the battle royale Warzone mode. Activision has laid out the Season 1 cosmetic drops in detail with a new trailer. The battle pass can earn you up to 1300 COD points, which you can use for the next battle pass.According to an in-depth blog post, purchasing the Season 1 battle pass will instantly unlock several goodies before you ever start working your way through. First up is Stitch, a new elite Operator. His kit includes a Release Agent operator mission, which will reward you with two skins (Storm Diver and Spectre) along with a calling card and emblem. Stitch's nemesis, Adler, also gets an instant unlock with the Traveler skin and an operator mission. That one will grant you the Summit and Globatrotter skins, plus the associated calling card, emblem, and XP. You'll also get a Silver Flash Watch, and a 10% XP bonus.The battle pass is also granting extra rewards through the Zombies mode for the first time. Cyberpunk 2077's performance on last-gen consoles has been so unstable that developer CD Projekt Red is issuing users a refund and pledged to drop more patches next year to stabilize the game. In the meantime, however, players have encountered yet another glitch similar to the one from earlier this month where the character's penises couldn't stay in their pants.This time around it's the rear-end. Yes, butts in Cyberpunk 2077 are out of their pants and in the open-world for all to see. The instances in which this bug occurs seems to be specific to driving for now, but enough people have encountered it that screenshots are all over Twitter.Here's what happens: Players drive around Night City, maybe minding their business or maybe pursuing one of the many quests the game has to offer. Syfy has dropped a trailer for its upcoming series Resident Alien. It follows an alien who crash lands on our planet in Patience, Colorado and poses as Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle while he awaits a rescue after carrying out his mission to kill all humans. It's actually a bit more complicated than that, as the alien gets sidelined after being roped into solving a local murder--meaning he must assimilate into his new world before destroying it. It's hard to convey the humor that's infused through the high-stakes tone the show trucks in, so see for yourself in the new clip below.Due to premiere on January 27 on SyFy, the show is an adaptation of the Dark Horse comic series co-created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse, which ran from 2012 through to 2018. The trailer looks promising and strikes a fun balance between humor and drama, which isn't a shock given its star Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Rogue One), and the fact that the show is executive produced by Chris Sheridan (Family Guy). Fortnite got a big performance and visual boost for early adopters of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but Epic Games wants to share the love with PC gamers as well. Oh, scalpers. The bane of everybody's lives, and one of the major forces behind next-generation console and PC hardware scarcity. Gamers this year were frustrated at not only the competitive process of getting a standard-priced console from retailers, but also the sky-high second-hand prices set by scalpers looking to make a profit.So exactly how much did scalpers make off of this new set of hardware? Data engineer Michael Driscoll created an analysis that tried to answer the question (via Tom's Hardware). He processed sold listings on eBay for PS5 and Xbox consoles, as well as AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, and recorded the median percentage of the manufacturer's suggested price (MSRP) that a certain hardware type sold for. Take note that he only pulled US listings, so it's not a global resell market estimate.To no one's surprise, scalpers made a killing on the PS5, specifically the standard version. Since November, it has consistently sold for more than 250% of its suggested retail price. Considering a standard PS5 edition retails at $500, that means people were consistently paying above $1250 for a console. Driscoll commented, "Over 32,000 PS5s have been sold on eBay, resulting in scalpers netting $19 million in profits." A movie based on the classic fantasy role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons has been in development for many years, and last year it was revealed that Game Night's Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley were in talks to direct. It's now been reported that Chris Pine might star in the film.According to Deadline, Pine is in negotiations to take the lead role in the D&D movie. Goldstein and Daley will still direct, and have also written the screenplay. The movie is being produced by Paramount, who also made the Star Trek movies in which Pine starred.Dungeons and Dragons doesn't currently have a release date, but Deadline states that it will start production in Belfast in the first quarter of 2021. Since 2019, we've known that Netflix mainstay The Office was due to leave the streaming platform for its NBC mothership platform Peacock in 2021. While previous reports indicated that The Office might stay on Netflix through the end of January 2021 at the very latest, one final way 2020 is getting its last kicks in is the announcement that this will not be the case. In a release sent out by Peacock, 2021 means 2021: The show will leap to Peacock on New Year's Day."This memorandum is to inform everyone that we expect a significant spike in sales starting on January 1, 2021 when Peacock starts streaming the documentary footage that was shot at Dunder Mifflin Scranton between 2005 and 2013," Peacock said in an announcement.Sales brags aside, legitimate though they might be, The Office creator Greg Daniels pointed out one of the more exciting benefits of having The Office on an NBC platform: "Having The Office back in the NBC family opens up access to a lot of extra content that we originally shot."
