Lego quietly began the process of retiring its Atari 2600 building set late last year. Fast forward to March, and the nostalgic 2,532-piece display model is now sold out at all major retailers except for one. Over at Amazon, you can get the Atari 2600 for its regular $240 MSRP. Like other retailers, Amazon ran out of units last year, but sometimes the retailer randomly restocks retired Lego sets. This is one of those cases. See at Amazon Considering that the Lego Atari received numerous $50 to $100 discounts throughout its two-plus year lifecycle, the $240 price may sound a bit high. That said, resellers on Amazon and Walmart have recently started listing the retired set for upwards of $300. There's a chance that $240 will sound like a deal in the coming months.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Ballistic Moon, the studio behind the PC and PS5 remake of Until Dawn released last year, is now "effectively closed" after failing to find a publisher for its next game.A new report from Insider Gaming reveals that only the studio founders and a handful of others potentially remain employed there at this point. The studio reportedly couldn't find funding for its next game, and Sony didn't give the studio any support for future work on the Until Dawn franchise. Ballistic Moon has yet to comment on this situation.Ballistic Moon is a U.K. developer founded in 2020 by industry veterans from studios like EA and Supermassive Games. So far, Ballistic Moon's only game is 2024's remake of Until Dawn, which brought the beloved PS4 choose-your-own-adventure horror adventure game to Unreal Engine 5. It featured a recomposed musical score, changed the gameplay camera to a third-person perspective rather than a fixed-camera one, and added a post-credit scene teasing a sequel. It received a lukewarm reception compared to the original.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Interested in trying out the newest co-op adventure from Hazelight Studios but want to keep it cost-friendly? Fortunately, Split Fiction makes it extremely easy to save money and still enjoy what GameSpot has named one of the best games of 2025 so far, earning a rare 10 in our Split Fiction review.Hazelight Studios and EA have recently revealed information about how Split Fiction's Friend's Pass and cross-play between different platforms work. Turns out, it's both easy to set up and a good deal.Similar to Hazelight's previous co-op games like It Takes Two and A Way Out, Split Fiction is a mandatory co-op game. Thankfully, however, all three of these games offer a Friend's Pass. This allows players who buy the game to connect with someone who doesn't have a copy, and play through it in its entirety. But this time, Split Fiction's version has some expanded features that weren't in those previous games, such as cross-platform play and a free demo.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

For a team like Red Barrels, finding success in making just one series for over a decade isn't easy. It seems especially difficult when you consider the series the team makes; Outlast is a gruesome, unflinching, taboo-shattering horror series, with gore, violence, and even nudity so beyond most other games that I'm sometimes amazed games in the series don't get Adult ratings.I'll also add it's among my favorite horror series, though I didn't anticipate that would remain the case when The Outlast Trial was revealed years ago. As a four-player co-op take on the series' typical single-player horror stories, I felt like Outlast might lose some of its best features--the lonesome helplessness and intense situations where no one can save you. Last year, I wrote my Outlast Trials review, which helped me come to find I had misjudged the game previously. Today, it's become a regular in my rotation, and it's especially interesting to me, given it's essentially a live-service game from a studio new to that highly competitive scene. With all of this context in mind, I was eager to speak to Red Barrels game director, Alex Charbonneau, so I could ask him his thoughts on these and other aspects of the game in advance of today's first anniversary since the game launched into its 1.0 state. Charbonneau spoke to the game's jaw-dropping depictions of violence and the problems that can sometimes present for its community. He also touched on how the community has helped shape the game, which originally had far less planned than what we've already seen come to the game just in its first year. Perhaps most intriguing is what he said about PvP coming to the game, which is currently PvE co-op only. Find all these details and more in GameSpot's interview below.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The 4K Blu-ray version is actually cheaper than the standard Blu-ray right now, so you may want to secure your preorder while Amazon is offering this $15 discount.Directed by Gints Zilbalodis and made with open-source software at a budget of roughly $4 million, Flow brought in over $20 million at the box office. Flow earned glowing praise from both critics and viewers, and it’s currently sitting with “Universal Acclaim” on Metacritic. What's even more impressive, though, is that Flow managed to topple several commercial hits from some of the biggest animated studios, including Dreamworks' The Wild Robot and Pixar's Inside Out 2, which is one of the top 10 highest-grossing movies ever at $1.7 billion.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

You're probably wondering why Focus Mode in Monster Hunter Wilds is a bit finicky. As you take on numerous gargantuan beasts, this mechanic is one that enables you to track targets and land devastating blows. However, making use of it is a bit cumbersome... at least until you make a small tweak to the controls. Our guide tells you just what you need to do to alleviate combat-induced migraines in your playthrough. How to make combat easier with the Focus Mode toggle in Monster Hunter Wilds Focus Mode is a game mechanic that's supposed to make combat easier. First, it requires you to hold the button prompt--i.e. L2/LT on a gamepad, Left Alt on a keyboard, or the Mouse 4 button on a mouse. This lets you aim and track a target as it moves around the area.More importantly, it makes wounds easier to discern. When you repeatedly hit a monster's body parts, these wounds appear as bright red gashes while Focus Mode is active. Then, when you press the button prompt for a Focus Strike, your character will perform a devastating blow.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses $399 (was $459) See at Amazon (Lightning Deal) See at Amazon (Coupon Deal) Amazon has a great deal on the Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses that drops the price to $399, which matches the lowest price yet for the impressive extended reality glasses. If you're unfamiliar with XR technology, Viture Pro Glasses are essentially wearable 1080p projectors. You can connect the glasses to your PC, smartphone, tablet, or game consoles to enjoy a 135-inch personal display only you can see.Note: Amazon has two separate listings for the Viture Pro XR Glasses. One of the listings is an Amazon Lightning Deal for $399, while the other is marked at $459 with a $60-off coupon box. Regardless of which one you order from, you'll get the same pair of glasses, so make sure to check the other listing if the first listing you click is sold out. Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses $399 (was $459) The Pro XR Glasses are Viture's flagship model. We were quite impressed with their clarity and how easy they were to use when we reviewed them at launch last summer. Viture packed impressive tech in glasses that aren't much bulkier than normal eyewear. The simulated 135-inch display has a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits of brightness. The lenses do a great job of blocking out glare, allowing you to use them comfortably in different environments. The built-in speakers are serviceable, though like with most electronics, headphones or earbuds will offer a better audio experience. The Viture Pro XR Glasses offer a plug-and-play experience on portable devices such as Steam Deck, iPhones, and Android phones. We also really enjoyed our using the glasses with a PC, though your home setup for desktop computers and home consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might make them to tricky to use without shifting stuff around. One accessory that helps with this process is the Viture Pro Mobile Dock. While the glasses can plug directly into most devices, they will only work on Nintendo Switch when connected to official dock. This Mobile Dock is a hybrid USB-C hub and battery pack, so it's useful for all devices, but especially if you want to use additional accessories or game on the go. If you're buying the Mobile Dock for Nintendo Switch, you'll also want to pick up the Mobile Dock Mount, which connects the dock to the back of the handheld. The Mobile Dock is on sale for $116 (was $129) with promo code VITURE10.
