Razer has launched a brand-new type of product, aimed not only at gamers but also the many people still working behind a computer at home. If you've been looking for a device to both protect your eyes and take your calls, the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses fit that specific niche. Razer Anzu Smart Glasses $200 The $200 pair of frames is Razer's first foray into eyewear, with the largest focus on protecting user's eyes from the harmful blue light most displays produce. The included lenses filter out 35% of blue light from all your digital devices, while the supplementary polarized lenses feature 99% UVA/UVB protection outdoors. See at Razer But these aren't just regular frames. Similar to Bose's own smart frames, the Anzu features open-back speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, with a rated five hours of playback time. Razer says that the glasses go into battery-saving mode when folded, which can extend battery life to two weeks. This means you can listen to music, take calls, and bug your smartphone digital assistant just by wearing the frames. Touch controls on the outer rims also provide controls for music playback, assistant commands, and more.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Netflix has released the first official trailer for Lupin Part 2, the final five episodes that will complete Season 1 of the series that debuted back in January. The new episodes will hit the streaming service, according to the trailer, sometime this summer. The intriguing crime drama is only coincidentally similar to the massively popular anime series of the same name--only because it draws inspiration from the same source material: the fictional adventures of early 20th century gentleman thief and master of disguise, Arsène Lupin. In this new French imagining of those capers, Lupin is the only son of a Senegalese immigrant who came to France to seek a better life for his child. Rather than being the beneficiary of a better life, Lupin instead is orphaned as a teenager after his father is framed for a crime by his boss, Hubert Pellegrini. An official synopsis for the next five episodes reads: "Assane's quest for revenge against Hubert Pellegrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger." Check out the trailer below. These upcoming episodes are directed by Ludovic Bernard (Episodes 6 and 7) and Hugo Gélin (Episodes 8, 9, and 10). The show's cast includes Omar Sy, Hervé Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella, and Soufiane Guerrab. This Netflix adaptation is co-created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

We've seen no shortage of Marvel characters in Fortnite already, and it looks like Ant-Man will be the latest hero to join the roster. Leakers have shown a portal tease that strongly hints the size-shifting hero will be coming soon, though Epic Games has yet to make the news official.Portals have been opening up as part of the Zero Point storyline in Fortnite for the last several weeks, and the latest shows a forest floor. The camera is on the ground, with bug noises heard--but Ant-Man himself isn't seen in the video. Dataminers found the portal is code-named "SmallFry," which seems to add weight to the Ant-Man prediction.New portal decrypted, Ant-Man soon! pic.twitter.com/88tK943rri — VastBlast - Fortnite Leaks (@VastBlastt) March 5, 2021The portals are typically only open for a short time before we get official confirmation on the crossovers. We've seen this with Tron, which featured a portal of the familiar blue-colored digital world before an announcement was made. It was also the case with Street Fighter, which showed off Ryu's Suzaku Castle stage inside the portal. Most of the characters for Season 6 haven't been superheroes, with the game instead drawing on a wide number of franchises like Alien, Halo, God of War, Predator, and GI Joe for skins and occasional challenges.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

A standing desk is one of those neat pieces of equipment that I've enviously watched others use in corporate settings for years, but I've never had the fortune to use one myself until recently. And while I've always thought of a standing desk as something you use in an office environment, I've come to appreciate the major perks of having one at home. The particular desk I've been testing comes from one of the top makers of standing desks, FlexiSpot, which just released a new model: the Comhar EG8 All-in-One Desk. Sleek and stylish with a shiny glass top, the Comhar EG8 is by far the most expensive desk I've ever used at $500, but having used it for both working from home and PC gaming for a couple of weeks now, I can say that it's a major upgrade that could be worth the high price tag if you're someone who works from home full-time.DesignAt first glance, the FlexiSpot Comhar EG8 standing desk looks like one you'd find in an office setting, and I was worried it wouldn't fit in with my cozy, cluttered living space (I received the all-white version, and I tend to prefer darker furniture). Its frame is made entirely of industry-grade steel, with the capability of supporting over 100 pounds of weight, and it has a shiny glass top that gives it a stylish, elegant look. On the front-facing side of the table, you'll see "FlexiSpot" in small silver letters on the left, and on the right, there's a control panel with several buttons and three USB ports. All in all, it looks expensive--it's immediately clear the Comhar EG8 desk is a premium product. The FlexiSpot Comhar EG8 desk (featuring Goku) | Photo via FlexiSpotAfter loading all of my equipment onto the desk, I was much happier with the overall look of the desk and felt that it gave my space a more polished, professional vibe without feeling out of place. At 48 inches wide and 24 inches deep, the surface offers ample space for my 32-inch monitor, keyboard, microphone, and MacBook Pro without feeling cluttered. Though you might be able to fit two small monitors, the Comhar EG8 is ideally a single-monitor desk with ample space for smaller peripherals as well.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

October might feel like a long way off, but as horror streaming service Shudder has reminded us, April means we will be halfway to Halloween. To celebrate, the platform is set to deliver one of its biggest months to date.April's biggest title is the long-awaited return of Creepshow. The first season of the horror anthology series was the platform's most successful series to date when it premiered in 2019, and there's much anticipation for this next batch of ghoulishly funny and spooky tales. And while the pandemic has meant we've had to wait a little longer for Season 2, the good news is that Season 3 has already been greenlit and is set to arrive later this year.Next month also sees the streaming premiere of Peninsula, South Korean director Yeon Sang-ho's sequel to his hugely successful zombie hit Train to Busan. This is a bigger, more action-packed follow-up, which follows a team of mercenaries into a zombie-infested city as they attempt to retrieve some money. There's also two new British horror movies hitting the service--the '70s-set chiller The Power and the ghost story The Banishing--and the second part of the documentary In Search of Darkness, which takes a deep dive into '80s horror.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

It seems the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone servers are having issues, with multiple sources saying they are now down. Players are being met with queues when trying to enter a match. [Update: Servers now appear to be back online.]There's very little information about what happened that caused the servers for both games to have gone offline all of a sudden. According to Activision's support page, the publisher said both games are "experiencing connectivity issues" and it is currently investigating them. Furthermore, there's no clarification on when both game servers will come back online. Activision noted, however, that it is "working to restore online services as quickly as possible." You'll have to wait to make your own massive explosions in Warzone or to check out the zombies apparently spreading across the Warzone map.Reports claim players are entering long queues when loading into matches. Some can't even connect to the servers at all. Gaming Intel reported some players have received messages saying the "servers are experiencing high volumes" and that they will be "placed in a game shortly." Other players are getting nonsensical error codes like "Yorker 43 Good Wolf."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Ubisoft has shared details on what to expect from The Division 2 in 2021. Plans include a new mode that will, according to the development team, be unlike anything we've seen in the series to date. But because Ubisoft only recently decided to continue development on new content for the game at all, the cadence for releases will be a little bit different.Ubisoft didn't share what the new mode is, but said it will be "entirely new to the franchise," and that it's also working on new ways to help keep players' character builds fresh as they continue playing the game's existing content. The Season 5 content coming to the game soon will actually be a return of Season 1's content, allowing those who didn't get certain rewards to finally snag them. This is intended to keep players engaged while the development team, which now includes Ubisoft Bucharest alongside Ubisoft Massive, works on brand-new content. That's a whole lot of bullets As part of its announcement, Ubisoft also shared some statistics on the game so far. Across the franchise, there have been 40 million players, and one agent in the game has revived others more than 27,000 times. There have also been 156 billion headshots, and one agent has managed to climb more than 36,000 floors in The Summit location.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Developer Remedy Entertainment has peeled back a small portion of the curtains hiding the studio's next games. In addition to Control, the developer has four other titles in the works.CEO Tero Virtala sat down with GamesIndustry.biz to discuss how Control isn't a "major hit" for the studio despite the game selling over two million copies since launch. In the interview, Virtala briefly outlined what the four Remedy teams are currently working on.We know about CrossfireX, an Xbox-exclusive first-person shooter slated to launch sometime this year. There's also Vanguard, a free-to-play, live service cooperative multiplayer experience of some kind. Destiny 2 will not be holding a Trials of Osiris event this weekend due to an ongoing issue, which may be related to players who have begun cheating by trading wins with each other. The cancelation of this weekend's event comes after Bungie was forced to disable Trials of Osiris last weekend, apparently because of the same problem.Due to an issue that was discovered last week, Trials of Osiris has been canceled this weekend. We will provide more information on next weekend as it becomes available. — Bungie Help (@BungieHelp) March 4, 2021Bungie's help account referenced last week's incident in its tweet on the cancellation, adding that it would provide information on the following week "as it becomes available." This could mean we're looking at another cancellation next week if the problem can't be solved, but this remains to be seen.As noted above, players have recently begun coordinating to essentially throw matches. This involves getting matched up with other willing teams and then having one side deliberately lose.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The Call of Duty Twitter account is seemingly teasing new content coming to Warzone--and it looks like it will be related to the newly released zombies plaguing a small part of Verdansk. On Twitter, the Call of Duty account shared a "breaking news report" from the BCH4 newsroom. The video features a newscaster discussing the recent events occurring at the Shipwreck crash site, which "released hordes of zombies onto the shores of Verdansk." The newscaster then throws it to fictional reporter Mike Field (in the field) before the helicopter he's dropping in on gets shot down. The video feed subsequently cuts back to the newsroom.Zombies are only on one part of Verdansk, the Shipwreck crash site. This locale on the map is a tiny portion of the expansive Verdansk, so the rumor is that zombies will spread across the region. March 10 marks Warzone's one-year anniversary and thus players are assuming the zombie outbreak will continue to grow until then, at which point Verdansk is said to get nuked.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Director Zack Snyder has released another teaser video for his upcoming cut of Justice League, this time focusing on Superman. Earlier this week, Snyder shared a similar clip looking to get fans hyped about Batman's role and likely arc in the four-hour epic, which will arrive in theaters and on HBO Max on March 18.Like the Batman trailer, this Superman trailer runs nearly a minute. One of the highlights in the 50-second video is easily when Henry Cavill's Superman looks at multiple suits on his Kryptonian ship, ditching his famous red and blue threads in favor of the infamous black suit. This subtle wardrobe choice is actually a nod to eagle-eyed fans that they will indeed be getting the "Snyder Cut," as the black suit was one of many points of contention between the director and Warner Bros. Check out the clip below and see for yourself.#Superman #SnyderCut #ZackSnydersJusticeLeague #UsUnited #AFSP pic.twitter.com/v7NpyqoyDG — Zack Snyder (@ZackSnyder) March 5, 2021Fans who are getting increasingly psyched about this long-requested new cut of the superhero film would likely be wise to pace themselves, as Snyder recently revealed that his version of Justice League will end on a cliffhanger. Where the story is left unresolved and whether there will be more films to continue it will likely largely depend upon ticket sales, streaming numbers, and fan response online--but Snyder has paced himself and stated he has made peace with the fact that the film's loose threads will likely never be properly addressed.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
