Developer Red Candle Games has released a small snippet of what its next game will look like. The developer says that the video is of a work-in-progress build, so the game could end up looking quite different. For now though, it looks like a 2D action game with an incredible style.Red Candle Games teased that it was working on something new when talking to me about Devotion and the studio's future. "After developing two horror titles, our team felt like taking a break from horror games and making something different," the developer told me. "Thus for our next project, we are now experimenting on a different genre. Developer People Can Fly has released an Outriders update addressing a glitch that wipes players' inventories. The patch is now live on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.Publisher Square Enix said the issue should be prevented going forward. Those affected between March 16-19 (and after) are told to reply to this Reddit thread or this Twitter post; the studio may reach out to further resolve any problems.Square said that any players whose inventory has been wiped due to the glitch will see their items restored soon. The music that comes out of the Destiny franchise has been consistently impressive throughout the series' nearly seven-year lifespan, with the composers who work with Bungie capturing the often-spooky ongoing narrative of undead superheroes fighting alien gods. The next Destiny 2 expansion, 2022's The Witch Queen, is going to bring together story threads that span Destiny's entire life, which has inspired a fan-made soundtrack that's so good, it sounds like Bungie could have created it.The soundtrack is called Savathûn, named for the evil Hive god who has existed as an antagonist since the release of Destiny 2--and who has been a central figure since the Forsaken expansion. Savathûn is the Witch Queen to which the next expansion refers, and she has ties to Oryx, the villain players defeated back during the Destiny 1 expansion The Taken King.What's remarkable about the soundtrack, created by freelance artist and musician Benjamin Noisette is how well it takes into account Destiny's musical history, while also telling a story of its own. Only death can fuel death. He summons Deathrattle minions from your deck, so make sure you have enough bodies to fuel the ritual."This isn't the first Demon Hunter card we've seen with Deathrattle synergy. Another card, the Demon Hunter rare card Razorfin Beastmaster, summons a Deathrattle minion from your hand. Death Speaker Blackthorn could conceivably summon Razorfin, who then summons yet another Deathrattle minion. With enough Deathrattle minions in your deck and hand, you could create a cascading series of bodies that keep summoning more onto the board.Forged in the Barrens is coming March 30, and that date will also mark the start of the Year of the Gryphon. It will add another 135 cards to the set, as some others cycle out of play to start the new year. Blizzard is taking a different approach this year, though, with the addition of a new Core set that will replace the Basic and Classic card sets. HBO Asia has reported its HBO GO service has experienced "an unprecedented surge in traffic for the exclusive premiere of Zack Snyder's Justice League," apparently crashing the platform in the region. The outage was self-reported on Facebook earlier on March 18, which is, of course, the long anticipated release date for the director's four-hour redux realizing his original vision for Justice League.After an outage that lasted roughly two hours, HBO Asia again reported on Facebook that "service has resumed," along with expressing gratitude to audiences for being patient. As Variety reported last year, WarnerMedia's HBO GO streaming service has been actively expanding deeper into Asian markets, with a particular focus on mid-sized markets like Taiwan and the Philippines.It's unclear from the Facebook posts which regions were affected, and whether customers were only unable to access Justice League or the service overall. The Hitman series is returning to mobile platforms with a new sniping-based assassination game. Currently being developed under the working title Hitman: Sniper Assassins, it's one of the only times in the series where you won't be playing as Agent 47.
