Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta test is out now, and players have discovered some new oddities--including a bag that has a better physics/modeling than anyone might have guessed and a bug that causes wet floor signs to go completely haywire.Reddit user acrking76 posted an incredible video of a UNSC military bag featuring a physics and modeling system that is quite impressive. Watch the video below to see how even the faintest touch of the bag affects its model with an impressive attention to detail. "Why are the physics and modeling on this bag so good," acrking76 asked. A very good question, indeed. As for the wet floor sign bug, Reddit user Rough-Many-4308 posted a video that shows something going very, very wrong. The player fires a few plasma grenades and, out of nowhere and for seemingly no reason, an avalanche of wet floor signs begin erupting from out of the ether. Machine Games, the developer behind the Wolfenstein reboot and an upcoming untitled Indiana Jones game, apparently has a bit more up its sleeve. As spotted by Opattack, Machine Games is joining Insomniac's club of studios that can develop two major titles at a time, with an employee's LinkedIn profile showing that the studio has another unannounced game in development. The LinkedIn profile belongs to Machine Games senior game designer Teemu Kivikangas. It shows that along with working on the Indiana Jones title, Kivikangas is also the lead game designer for an unannounced project. Of course, it's impossible to say what the upcoming title could be, but players should expect something matching the quality of Machine Games' previous titles.Likewise, it's not clear how much of Machine Games' resources are currently being directed toward this unannounced project. While Bethesda's Pete Hines has previously said that the Indiana Jones game, which Todd Howard is the executive producer for, will not impact the development of other Bethesda titles, that doesn't include Machine Games' unannounced title.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fortnite skins are a big draw for many fans, which is why a new Epic Games survey should attract so much attention from the game's community. A recent survey sent out by the developer-publisher asked players to weigh in on the appeal of dozens of unreleased skins, giving us a sneak preview of characters potentially headed to the game. While we can't say all of the teased skins will one day be available in Fortnite, it stands to both reason and history that some will.Epic's survey included skins spanning several different sets, with some making great companion characters to past heroes, while others look totally new and unlike anything else in Fortnite. Content creators have shared the full slate of polled skins, including several themed around Halloween, Christmas, and other tie-in events, which you can see in the tweet below.Epic are working on a Remix Omega, Christmas Aerial Assault Trooper, Frozen Midas, Frozen Peely, Frozen Renegade Raider, Toon Brite Bomber & More..👀Here are ALL the skins from the concepts survey in order: pic.twitter.com/dq4VRPi17Y — HYPEX (@HYPEX) September 24, 2021Sets that were noticed by fans include more characters in ongoing styles such as frozen, anime, and toon styles. There's also a Christmas-themed redesign of the fanmade skin Isabelle, a Hogwarts-inspired student of witchcraft. Other new styles for characters we've seen before include a winter-ready Doctor Slone and a clover-green Wildcard. As for totally new characters, there are plenty, like a killer clown, a human-sized bird, and a sloth who looks equipped for military service--you know, typical Fortnite stuff.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Throughout its six-year lifespan, the Nintendo GameCube managed to amass a sizable library of games. Officially, 653 games were released on the system from first-party Nintendo studios and other second- and third-party developers. In the years since production on the GameCube was halted, Nintendo has occasionally dipped into that vault of games and re-released them on newer consoles. There has been some hope that, with the console turning 20-years-old, that Nintendo would announce a dedicated GameCube virtual console for the Switch, but so far nothing concrete has emerged. We've put together a list of the best GameCube games--in alphabetical order--to celebrate the enduring legacy of Nintendo's box-shaped underdog with a carrying handle.Fire Emblem: Path of RadianceFire Emblem: Path of RadianceLong before the Fire Emblem franchise took a huge gamble on the Nintendo 3DS to determine its fate and was granted a new awakening, it was making a name for itself in Japan and largely shunning the idea of a Western release. That changed after Super Smash Bros. Melee was released, and in 2005 we got Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, building on the localization efforts set by Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. All the signature tactical action of the franchise was polished to a new level, bringing with it an addictive layer of turn-based strategy, challenging maps, and the infamous permadeath system that could undo hours of hard work when a beloved comrade fell in battle. With full-motion videos, a rich story, and a ton of stats to factor into every battle, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was a strategy game that was well worth investing time in, creating an unforgettable and mature experience on Nintendo's colorful console.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

We can hardly go a few days without news of the next Fortnite collaboration, and today's leak of a Fortnite and Monopoly crossover is just the latest to be revealed. While Epic hasn't officially commented on the licensing deal just yet, a recent datamining effort points to a set of eight new back bling cosmetics taken straight from the classic board game. The eight back bling items mirror the eight player tokens in traditional Monopoly, including the top hat, terrier, rubber duck, battleship, and more. As of now, this appears to be the only crossover content involved in the partnership as far as in-game items go, but that's certainly subject to change since this isn't an official unveiling.Fortnite x Monopoly Cosmetics!?I have no idea if it's a collab but it looks like it, they just got decrypted! pic.twitter.com/qn9k20ORlY — HYPEX (@HYPEX) September 24, 2021The crossover appears not to be part of a broader Monopoly anniversary since last year was the game's celebrated 85th year in stores.
