The long-discussed and even longer anticipated Friends reunion special is reportedly set to finally start shooting next week in Los Angeles, according to Deadline. HBO has not provided an official comment as of this writing, but the special has always been expected to be an unscripted reunion featuring the cast returning to the original soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank.Before the pandemic, the Friends reunion was being billed as one of the launch specials for HBO Max. Previously going up for more than $300,000, a sealed NES copy of Super Mario Bros. has sold for $660,000, becoming the most expensive video game ever sold.The price tag more than quadrupled the previous record for the most expensive video game ever sold, which was set in November 2020 when a sealed copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 flew off the shelf for $156,000. The record was previously broken in July 2020 by a mint copy of Super Mario Bros. that sold for $114,000. And in February 2019, another Super Mario Bros. copy sold for $100,150.This Super Mario Bros. copy that sold for $660,000 is still in pristine condition, according to Heritage Auctions, the multi-national auction house where it sold. Throughout the month of March, Master Chief voice actor Steve Downes donated his Cameo fees to a charity called Limbitless that makes prosthetic limbs for people who need them. Actor Kyle MacLachlan understands, but isn't enamored with, Warner Bros.' decision to release all of its 2021 movies both in theaters and on HBO Max at the same time. If you're having issues connecting or staying in an Outriders game, it isn't just you, and the problem requires a major outage in order to be addressed. Developer People Can Fly has acknowledged the game is having server issues, and because it requires an online connection in all modes, that means that solo players can't enjoy it right now, either. The studio asked that players bear with it and to not judge the game based on these "teething troubles." An ETA has not been shared, but servers were taken down for a brief time in an attempt to fix the situation.
