Dell has revealed four new monitors releasing over the next few months, all of which will feature VRR support that can be utilized by current generation consoles.Dell states that VRR (variable refresh rate) support will extend to the Xbox Series X, Series S, and PlayStation 5 (although Sony still needs to update the console itself to support it). This suggests that the monitors will feature HDMI 2.1 connections, which includes VRR support as part of the standard. The monitors will also support AMD FreeSync Premium or Premium Pro, but curiously only one display features certified Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. A recent patent application filed by EA reveals that the company has developed a series of adaptive systems that attempt to adjust a game's difficulty to your skill level. This adaptive system is designed primarily to keep users playing a game for as long as possible.The patent application was filed back in October 2020, and it was made public back in late March. The systems automatically adjust the difficulty setting of a game based on a player's skill level and the desired duration of a game session. Netflix has released the first and haunting new trailer for The Sons of Sam: A Descent Into Darkness. The four-part docuseries that has director Joshua Zeman (Cropsey, Murder Mountain) drawing on archival news footage, case files, and more in a quest to explore how the notorious "Son of Sam" killer David Berkowitz in the late 1970s spawned copycats. T-Mobile has widely launched its own home internet service, following a pilot program. The new service offers a flat rate of $60 per month for a modem rental and WiFi router that uses T-Mobile's 4G LTE and 5G networks.According to CNET, T-Mobile aims to compete with Comcast, Charter, and other mobile home broadband providers like AT&T and Verizon. The flat rate is said to contain no taxes or equipment fees, and to end your monthly charge you can just return the router. PUBG Mobile has finally added Karakin, one of the most popular maps in the original PUBG. The desert-themed map is compact and focuses heavily on verticality. In addition to the new 64-player map, the fresh update adds the Panzerfaust rocket launcher and sticky bombs to your arsenal.The update also introduces a modified version of the original PUBG's "red zone" mechanic. Called "Demolition Zones," players need to watch out for purple parts of the minimap, because they might get blown up. The cause of Tiger Woods' February car crash in California has been revealed. Authorities announced on Wednesday that excessive speed was to blame.After conducting an investigation, authorities said Woods was driving around 84-87 mph in a downhill section of road with a posted speed limit of 45 mph. A new update is out now for EA's Star Wars: Squadrons, delivering some balance changes to the space combat game for a series of different ships. In total, three major starfighters are getting changes to their balance to provide a "healthier meta" for top-tier players, EA said. If the balance changes work out like EA hopes they will, the wider playerbase should not be negatively impacted by these updates.Starting off, the TIE defender sees a change so its rapid power management becomes more costly, without nerfing the rest of its stats too much.
