Netflix has finally offered a first look at the highly-anticipated Season 4 of Ozark, the high-octane crime drama. Netflix revealed this clip as part of Tudum, its streaming virtual fan event. With Seasons 1-3, the Netflix original series consisted of 10 episodes per season. This final season will be expanded compared to previous installments, consisting of four more episodes than previously expected. Season 4 will also be split into two parts, with each one consisting of seven episodes. Unfortunately, that--plus the pandemic--has meant a whole lot of waiting for fans to see what's in store for this 14-episode final season. Finally, during Tudum, we now see for ourselves that the wait was more than worth it. Star Jason Bateman confirmed, before introducing a clip that's a "little strange," that they are currently filming the final season and it will hit Netflix sometime in 2022. In the sneak peek clip, Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) are cleaning blood out of their hair in a mysterious mansion, implying that even more bodies are going to fall in the super-sized final season. Ozark follows the Byrde family from the Chicago suburbs to Missouri, where they go to set up a money laundering operation after another scheme with a Mexican drug cartel goes wrong. However, upon setting up in the Lake of the Ozarks region, the family finds themselves dealing with local criminals. The series stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, and others.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

During Netflix's Tudum event, the streaming service revealed an exciting first look at its upcoming adaptation of The Sandman. As co-creator Neil Gaiman himself said earlier this year, he's held off for 30 years "successfully battling bad movies of Sandman" and the recently released clip finally lets viewers start to form a first impression of the direction it's headed.Gaiman also recently said that he isn't particularly interested in premature criticisms from people "who don't understand/haven't read Sandman" and prefers newcomers and old-school fans "watch the show, make up your minds" for themselves."As for the footage shown during Tudum, it was a quick--though impactful and very dramatic--clip of Dream/Sandman being summoned. Introducing the clip during Tudum, Gaiman reassured fans that this "decades-long gestation was a bit of a blessing... this is how it was always supposed to happen." The clip, in that regard, does not disappoint. Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

While we got Season 3 of Cobra Kai earlier this year, it feels like it's been far too long since the continuation of the Karate Kid released new episodes. Thankfully, the drought is coming to a close, thanks to Netflix's Tudum event. The streaming service has revealed the first trailer for Cobra Kai Season 4 and, even better, Netflix announced that the new episodes will all drop on December 31.The trailer, which you can watch below, is pure joy for fans of the series. As you may remember, Season 3 ended with Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel (Ralph Macchio) joining forces to unite their respective dojos in a battle against Kreese (Martin Kove) and Cobra Kai. Now, looking forward, former foes Daniel and Johnny are finding ways to work together, even if it's not going as smoothly as one might hope--that shouldn't be much of a surprise, though. The goal for them is to train their students well enough to defeat Cobra Kai at the upcoming All-Valley Karate Tournament. However, what they don't know is if Kreese has an ace up his sleeve. Thomas Ian Griffith is reprising his role as the evil Terry Silver from Karate Kid Part III in the new season, once again coming to the aid of his longtime best friend Kreese. On Cobra Kai, a much younger version of Silver was introduced last season during the flashbacks to Kreese's time in the Vietnam War.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

In the clip, we definitely see Tyler alive--but not doing quite so well. Badly wounded after a firefight on a bridge, Tyler takes a header into the water below, and miraculously after a beat swims to the surface.According to Netflix last year, some 90 million households watched Extraction over its first four weeks of release in April 2020. At the time, it outpaced similarly impressive viewing records for Tiger King, which started airing the month before. Extraction did so well for Netflix that a follow-up film was already announced a month after release. Netflix revealed today as part of its Tudum event the first look at The Witcher: Blood Origin. This first clip takes us behind the scenes of the show with showrunner Declan de Barra. The Witcher books that the Netflix series are based on have a rich history woven throughout the story of Geralt of Rivia, and The Witcher: Blood Origin will delve into it. Set 1,200 years before the events of the Witcher TV series--which itself spans well over 50 years--Blood Origin will tell the story of the original Witchers. This clip, unfortunately, doesn't give us any fresh information to work with--we see a brief look at the COVID-proofed table read for the show, de Barra shows us a fake eel, and then teleports to Iceland to say that the series is filming there. De Barra hints that the show will use practical effects for the monsters, but buries it in enough jokes and fake-outs that it's hard to tell if he's being serious.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Silent Hill 2 is often regarded as the pinnacle of the horror genre, going head-to-head with some of the best Resident Evil games for the crown. However, no Resident Evil game can compare to Silent Hill 2 when it comes to endings--or at least one secret ending that has stood the test of time over the last 20 years. In fact, today is its 20-year anniversary. We are, of course, talking about the "Dog" ending, which can only be seen after finishing multiple other endings for Silent Hill 2 and finding a key that is, appropriately enough, in a doghouse. Finishing the game this way seems to imply that the entirety of the events have been orchestrated by a Shiba Inu dog. After revealing this shocking secret, the credits roll, with the music backed by the percussive beat of a dog's bark.More than that, though, the ending also includes a slideshow of sorts that seems to imply the developers knew how cheesy some aspects of the "actual" game were--and we don't just mean because there is a spinning pizza. It then gets weirdly sensual for about two seconds before the credits end.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

One of the biggest surprises from the September Nintendo Direct was the casting announcements for the Super Mario movie. In particular, people were flummoxed by the news that Chris Pratt will voice Mario. The casting announcement wasn't a surprise to everyone, however, as one person on Twitter actually predicted Pratt's casting more than a year ago.Twitter user general_sthe laid out their prediction for the Super Mario movie back on May 21, 2020, saying series voice actor Charles Martinet would not play the part and Pratt would instead be the case. In reality, general_sthe absolutely nailed it with their very prescient tweet. After the news broke on Thursday, general_sthe's tweeted again to voice their dismay that it came true, saying, "I'm so sorry, Charles Martinet. You DESERVED to be voicing Mario in the movie. This character would not be nearly as endearing, lovable, or alive without you."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
