A Change.org petition that calls for Sony to greenlight Days Gone 2 has amassed over 50,000 signatures. The petition was launched in early April, and it has 56,000 signatures as of this writing.As noted by VGC, this news follows a report from Bloomberg that states that developer Sony Bend prepared a pitch for a Days Gone 2 that was rejected by Sony, apparently due to its "mixed" critical reception. That report also claimed that a remake of The Last of Us. Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan has announced he is leaving Blizzard Entertainment. Apple TV+ has announced that Season 2 of Ted Lasso will be hitting the streaming service on July 23. The show has been one of Apple TV+'s earliest hits, with the sports comedy show getting picked up for another season with 12 episodes only five days after having a strong debut in 2020. Similarly, according to a release, the series has already been renewed for Season 3 ahead of the upcoming premiere.The show, and its titular character, have had an incredible and unexpected fast ascent. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is joining the new Marvel TV show Secret Invasion that is coming to Disney+. The two models, 11-in and 12.9-in, retail for $799 and $1299, respectively. As a new trailer shows, Skin Deep is an immersive sim in the style of Prey 2017 that casts players as an "insurance agent" that ensures the safety of space freighters when no-good space pirates show up.Indie games advocate Dominic Tarason described Skin Deep as "Die Hard in space," and that's exactly what it looks like. Players will creep through air vents stealthily to take down the space pirates with traditional weapons like pistols and shotguns, but the game also features offbeat items like black pepper and something called a "hushbox." A new Apple TV 4K is on the way. Apple has announced that it will release a new version of its premium streaming box this month.The new model replaces the last Apple TV 4K, which was released in 2017. It will include the powerful A12 Bionic chip, that allows for HDR video playback at higher frame rates. Apple has stated that it is working with "leading video providers," including FOX Sports, NBCUniversal, Paramount+, Red Bull TV, and Canal+, to supply high frame rate HDR content for the Apple TV. In addition, it can play Dolby Vision videos shot on the iPhone 12 Pro at 60FPS over AirPlay.The new Apple TV 4K also has a color balance feature which will optimize TV color and contrast via an iPhone camera. Discord has reportedly shut down any plans of a potential sale, with Microsoft's supposed $10 billion purchase option now no longer on the table.A report by The Wall Street Journal states that Discord is instead looking to continue independently, after the company has had a strong couple of months in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. HBO Max has released a new teaser for Together Again, the third hour-long episode in a planned run of four revival specials titled Adventure Time: Distant Lands. The latest entry in the long-running fantasy series is due to hit the streaming service on May 20.Together Again's official logline says this adventure "brings Finn and Jake together again, to rediscover their brotherly bond and embark on the most important adventure of their lives." The special will also reportedly answer the question: "Will Finn and Jake be best bros forever?" More specific plot details have not yet been announced. World Of Warcraft now automatically blocks messages containing "reserved words" such as slurs and other banned or derogatory language. WoW-focused outlet Wowhead discovered the change on live servers recently and published a news post outlining the change.As with most online games, WoW has used a text filter to automatically censor and filter certain words for years now. However, this new system that Wowhead discovered--which only appears to apply to one particular racial slur at the moment--would appear to indicate that Blizzard is planning to punish derogatory language more harshly in the future. The new system blocks the message from being sent on live servers entirely, though you can still send the message via Battle.net chat.Given the fact that it only applies to one word, it's likely that this is just an experimental feature for now, but it could soon expand to include more "reserved words." In other WoW news, the game's Chains of Domination update has been out on the game's Public Test Realm for a few days now. You can now find Hello Kitty, Pac-Man, Gundam, Ultraman, Evangelion, and much more represented in their 3D form. A few of the characters, including Cogimyun, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin, come with their own audio and can "talk."You'll need to be on mobile to use Google AR and view the 14 new characters. If there's ever been a question fans might have wanted answered about the vampire misses, it's just what it would feel like to get stepped on by her. The results? A YouTuber estimated what might happen and let's just say it ends in instant death.YouTuber Kyle Hill posted a 14-minute video detailing the possible aftermath of Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone. Hill did this by assuming her body mass index (BMI) and working backward to get her mass, which is the real determining aspect for what would happen as it factors in force used and pressured exerted.Hill assumed Lady Dimitrescu's BMI is between 24 and 26. He plugs this number (it's unclear what number he uses exactly) into a BMI equation to estimate that she weighs 450 pounds. This weight is increased because it's assumed she will wear heels. After a few more calculations, Hill approximated that Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone would emit 48 million psi (pounds per square inch).
