Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer component of the upcoming Resident Evil Village, is coming later this year. An email to "Resident Evil ambassadors" says that the service will begin this summer, rather than alongside Village on May 7. The email did not give more specific timing. Re:Vese is a competitive multiplayer shooter, where players control a set of heroes or villains and battle it out. Downed enemies can become bioweapons to attach to other players. Capcom has been regularly hosting beta tests for the mode.Meanwhile, Resident Evil Village has gotten its own set of demos, albeit with some odd time restrictions. Possibly in response to controversy over the strict demo timing, Capcom opted to extend its final demo by a full week. Some people are already playing the full game, however, as it appears to have leaked in the wild in some territories.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fortnite version 16.30 is out now, and if you don't care to read the complete Fortnite 16.30 patch notes, the main takeaway is the addition of the Unstable Bow, which was leaked earlier this season but we now know operates differently than how some dataminers expected given their available information when it leaked. Here's what you need to know about the Fortnite Unstable Bow.Unstable Bow LocationRebirth Raven sells the Unstable Bow for 500 Gold Bars. The Unstable Bow is the latest, and arguably greatest, bow to arrive for the "primal" Fortnite Season 6. Fox is teaming up with Warner Bros. Animation to create Bedrock, an upcoming animated sequel series to the iconic animated sitcom, The Flintstones. The new show, which will be aimed at adult audiences rather than kids, will star Elizabeth Banks (Modern Family, 30 Rock). News of the series getting a green light comes via The Hollywood Reporter.Banks, who is also executive producing the series, will voice a grown-up Pebbles Flintstone in a show that takes place 20 years after the 1960s ABC series. No other co-stars or premise details have yet been announced, but it's also worth noting that this isn't Fox's first go at reviving the Flintstones--back in 2012, Seth MacFarlane got a series order for a reboot, but that version didn't progress beyond some early scripts. In fact, this isn't even the first time a Pebbles-centric Flintstones sequel has been attempted, with the short-lived The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show running for one season in late 1971."Long before the Simpsons and Springfield, the Griffins and Quahog, or even when the Belchers started serving burgers on Ocean Avenue, there were the Flintstones and Bedrock," said Michael Thorn, president of entertainment for Fox Entertainment. "Their imprint on the animation universe is undeniable and the idea of adapting it for today's audience is a challenge we here at Fox are very much looking forward to taking on."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

"It has always made a point of including equal gendered characters, protagonists and antagonists of every race, and representation of all creeds--bringing a female and diverse audience to gaming like nothing prior. Its games and fandom are a place where women, POC, and the LGBTQI community feel welcome and we are very proud to bring these stories to life."Heisserer added: "The legacy of these stories is way ahead of its time, inviting issues and perspectives other games ignored. This feels like the next step for genre."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

With Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead premiering on Netflix in less than a month, a new interview with star Dave Bautista has arrived. In it, he discusses his acting career and compares it to the world of another former WWE wrestler-turned-movie star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. When asked by JoBlo if his history in the ring and his massive, muscular frame have been an asset as he forged ahead in his acting career, the Guardians of the Galaxy star said no. "I wanted to go against that grain and make everything much smaller, very subtle," he explained. "I make a living off of subtlety. I want that to be my strength. I want that to be what separates [Johnson and I]. I don't want to be that guy who walks in that room, I never wanted to be that guy."Of course, that's not to take anything away from The Rock, who is one of the biggest movie stars on the planet. Instead, Bautista looks at how Johnson has excelled in his career and decided to try a different way.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The game, which is being developed by Springloaded, is a pixelated zoo tycoon-esque sim but with a pretty major twist. Players can genetically splice together their animals, resulting in adorable new creatures.A trailer for the game, as well as a gameplay preview posted on YouTube, show that at first it looks like your average zoo tycoon game. The Nintendo Switch's Joy-Cons offer a lot of flexibility in how the system can be played, letting you use them while the switch is docked, in handheld mode, or even propped up on a flat surface. They can also function as a pair of controllers in local multiplayer. But since the Switch launched, there's been one Joy-Con feature that has been a sore point for players, and no, we're not talking about drift. The Switch's Joy-Con controller lack a traditional D-pad and instead offer four directional buttons on the left-hand Joy-Con where the D-pad would be.For those who prefer the feel of a traditional D-pad, which feels like a must for playing some of the classic SNES games on Switch like Super Mario World and Super Metroid, Hori offers a line of D-pad Switch controllers that simply replace the left Joy-Con on your system. Though they're available in a variety of designs, there's a rare deal on one particular version right now at Amazon--you can snag the Black & Gold Pikachu design that's black with yellow lightning bolts for $20 right now, down from $25. Hori Switch D-Pad Controller $20 (was $25) The Black & Gold Pikachu design is the only one discounted, but it comes with free Prime shipping as early as tomorrow.
