As in our own world circa 2021, many of the denizens of Sable wear masks. And one of the coolest masks you can find during the course of the game is a sleek black face covering dotted with dozens of darting eyes. It’s called the Shade of Eccria mask, and you will, fittingly, earn it as part of a quest called “The Shade of Eccria.” To get it, you’ll need to head for, you guessed it, Eccria, a bustling settlement on the western side of the map, and roughly straight west, with a slight north list, from Burnt Oak Station.Once you reach Eccria, go beneath the bridge that leads into the city from the south. Here you’ll find Maz, who will ask you to recover a child he looks after who has been imprisoned by the town guards (If Maz isn’t there, follow the ‘Heartbreak in the City’ quest until you restore power back to Eccria). But you can’t just walk up and tell the guards to hand the child over. Instead, Maz informs you that he was once a vigilante called the Shade of Eccria and says that, if you don the mask he once wore, the guards will be too terrified to stop you from rescuing the child. Maz instructs you to seek out the Shade of Eccria mask by looking for a symbol on the town gate and following it until you find the mask. The town gate is right above Maz, so climb up on the bridge and have a look.The symbol, which looks like a film reel, is painted on other surfaces in and around the town, too, but we had a hard time following Maz’s logic for how exactly it directed us to the mask. Fortunately, Eccria isn’t too big of a place and Maz (helpfully) hints that you will need to go through water in order to find it. So head to the lake immediately north of Eccria and swim out to the rocks on the western side of the water. In the hidden alcove within the rocks, you should spy the symbol again. A quick scan of more recent videos posted to the channel, such as the widely disliked GTA V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S trailer, shows what appears to be a complete lack of GTA 6 comments as well. Call of Duty Season 5 Reloaded's ongoing Numbers event offers in-game challenges across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, but many players are complaining that the battle royale part of the event is way too loud.Themed around the iconic Black Ops campaign narrative of the brainwashing Numbers program, Call of Duty's Numbers event in Warzone includes activating Mobile Broadcast Stations around Verdansk. Activated stations then loudly broadcast a series of numbers and include a scrambled audio effect that hinders players from hearing the important game sounds around them. It's excruciatingly loud audio, and there are often a series of numbers flashing across the screen that can be very distracting. While Fortnite Chapter 2 brought with it many exciting features, there remains a passionate portion of the fanbase that is always hopeful for the return of the Chapter 1 map. Diablo II: Resurrected launched September 23--and in its first week since release, certain players are experiencing character lockouts, and others are also seeing their offline characters disappear or lose progress.The character lockout error seems to be the system not registering that players have gone off the server, thus throwing up the following error message when players try to login again, "Failed to enter the game. The release of a new beta test or demo often results in a wave of datamined content. Halo Infinite is no exception, as miners have potentially unearthed a treasure trove of content from Halo Infinite's technical test over the weekend.Reddit featured a thread of the supposed found content, revolving mostly around rewards like emblems, weapon charms, and special armor effects. Armor effects mined include a flaming helmet and a light-up mohawk, while some of the new weapon charms feature a strip of bacon, an Xbox Elite controller, and what looks like a Nerf dart.While fiery helmets and charms made of food are great perks, the true meat of this leak comes from the emblems, which reference some of the internet's greatest memes. Halo Infinite's first multiplayer beta, which used bots, was an important first step, but this past weekend's full-blown test of 4v4 Arena Slayer with actual PvP combat was the game's first true test--and it passed with flying colors. After playing in nearly every session this weekend, I found Halo Infinite to be the return to form that I had been hoping to see after I was left disappointed by Halo 5 (and Halo 4, for that matter). That being said, I still have some concerns and reservations about the offering ahead of its launch in December.The Bones Are GoodHalo Infinite's multiplayer is in very good shape, with all of the important bases covered. After adopting the series from Bungie, 343 had the very difficult task of taking ownership of what is known as one of the best FPS experiences ever (on console, at least) and not only keeping that intact, but pushing the formula forward. 343 has succeeded, for the most part, in this respect with Halo Infinite.The gunplay has that classic, Halo 3-like "weight," and it just simply feels good to snap off some precise rounds with the new Battle Rifle or to control the spray of the AR as you face an oncoming enemy. The Halo "combat dance" is intact in Halo Infinite's multiplayer, to be sure. The time-to-kill is long enough that you have a second chance to survive a firefight even if you get into it at a disadvantage (and this is aided even more so by new abilities like the Grappleshot, which I'll get to later). October's PlayStation Plus games have reportedly been leaked early. A notable leaker that revealed September's lineup early posted that October's free games will be Hell Let Loose for PS5, Mortal Kombat X for PS4, and PGA Tour 2K21 for PS4.As reported by VGC, Billbill-kun on Dealabs accurately leaked the September PlayStation Plus lineup of Overcooked: All You Can Eat, Hitman 2, and Predator: Hunting Grounds, which are available to claim until October 4.
