One of the most memorable features of the Mass Effect series has always been its morality system. Choice is a huge part of the Mass Effect series, and that's true in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition as well. If you're new to the series, though, you might not realize exactly how the morality system works. It toggles between two extremes: Paragon, a conversation-centric, merciful approach, and Renegade, a down-to-business, confrontational approach. And while it can be fun to change how your Commander Shepard approaches problems on a case-by-case basis, we've got some advice for you: Pick Paragon or Renegade and stick with it.Your status as either Paragon or Renegade is determined by your choices throughout the game, whether it's in dialogue with other characters or in how you choose to resolve conflicts and solve problems. In dialogue, Paragon choices are always on the top of the dialogue wheel, while Renegade choices are always on the bottom. As mentioned, these aren't so much "good" or "bad"; more like "diplomatic" and "expedient." The Paragon works with other people to try to make everyone happy, while the Renegade gets the job done no matter whose feathers it might ruffle.As you make Paragon or Renegade choices, you'll earn points for each side, which are tracked on the Squad screen for your character in all three games. It's fully possible to collect both Paragon and Renegade points throughout the game, allowing what seems best in the moment to dictate how you talk with people or wrap up problems. Mobile versions of console or PC titles used to carry the stigma of being poor cousins, but as games like Fortnite and Genshin Impact have shown, it's possible for mobile games to be just as good as their console counterparts. At first glance, NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition seems like it will follow suit; the game looks very impressive, the action runs smoothly, and every NBA team (with full rosters) is available from the start. I thought I'd have all I need to enjoy some great NBA action wherever I went, but the more I played the more I realized what I thought would be a deep experience was instead very shallow.NBA 2K21 Arcade is the annual basketball franchise's first appearance in Apple Arcade, and it features three main modes: Play Now, MyCareer, and Black Top. The game does a great job of bringing the impressive visuals of the NBA 2K games to iOS, with player models here looking pretty close to their real-life counterparts.The Play Now feature is straightforward: pick two teams and play a game. The short amount of time it takes from booting the game up to playing a game is impressive, only lasting as long as it takes you to pick teams. Following earlier teasers, Activision has now formally announced the '80s Action Heroes DLC is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and CoD: Mobile this month. This includes new content for Sylvester Stallone's Rambo and John McClane from Die Hard, according to the teaser.All of this will apparently come to these games, or at least begin to, as part of an update on May 20. The teaser below shows Stallone's Rambo and Nakatomi Plaza from Die Hard. Beyond the (presumed) new Rambo and McClane skins, there is no word on what else might be in the new DLC. Pokemon Sword and Shield have received a new update. This patch brings the Switch games up to version 1.3.2, but it's fairly minor as far as updates go, primarily resolving a handful of bugs and other issues.According to the patch notes on Nintendo's support website, the new patch fixes an issue that caused some Pokemon icons to display incorrectly during online and local battles. Beyond that, the update also resolves a handful of unspecified issues "to improve gameplay experience." The cast for Knives Out 2 continues to grow, as Deadline reports today that WandaVision star Kathryn Hahn has joined movie. Gears 5's Operation 7 arrives on May 18, and when it does it will bring two new characters, new maps, a slew of balance changes, and forced cross-play across console and PC.In a post outlining the changes coming in Operation 7, The Coalition writes that 40% of players disable the cross-play matchmaking option, which is "significantly impacting the matchmaking times for our players on both PC and console." It's for that reason The Coalition is disabling the ability to opt-out of cross-play, stating that new features included in Operation 7, such as the inclusion of new field-of-view options across all platforms, make the two versions of the game almost identical to one another. Gears 5 already supports keyboard-and-mouse for console, and the higher framerates and reduced input lag allowed for by the Xbox Series X|S make The Coalition confident in the decision to force the game's two communities together.Leading the charge in terms of new content is the addition of two new characters fans of the series are likely familiar with: Ukkon and Hana Cole. The Disney+ streaming service closed its second fiscal quarter of 2021--which ended on April 3 for Disney--with 103.6 million subscribers. This number is up from 33.5 million in March 2020, according to a recent release from Disney.These numbers also include Disney+ Hotstar subscription numbers, which launched in India on April 3, 2020 and in Indonesia on September 5, 2020. Comparatively, Netflix recently hit 208 million, Amazon Prime has 200 million, HBO Max has 44 million, and Peacock has 42 million. While 103.6 million may seem like great growth for Disney+, it's lower than what analysts predicted, which was 110 million subscribers.Disney+ original series WandaVisionThe Disney-owned Hulu grew 33% between March 2020 and 2021.
