Rocket League is once again crossing over with the Fast & Furious franchise. As revealed during the Summer Game Fest kickoff stream, a handful of Fast & Furious-themed content is coming to Psyonix's game starting June 17, including new cars and other cosmetic items.The Fast & Furious 3-Car Bundle will cost 2,400 Credits and includes the Dodge Charger, Nissan Skyline, and Pontiac Fiero. During Summer Game Fest, developer Amplitude Studios released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming roguelike tower defense game, Endless Dungeon. In the trailer, character Zed walks you through the four necessary rules for surviving in the game.The trailer also reveals a new character for Endless Dungeon. Throughout the trailer, Zed comments on the subpar performance of the three-person squad trying to follow her rules. Marvel's newest TV series, Loki, following the titular prankster character as he grudgingly helps fix broken timelines, garnered 890,000 U.S. households on the night of its Wednesday debut on Disney+. According to Deadline, which is sourcing its metrics from the third-party service Samba TV--since streaming services generally don't broadcast their own audience numbers--Loki's viewership outperformed both WandaVision (655,000) and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (759,000) on their first days up for streaming.The clear conclusion from this, as also articulated by SambaTV's report, is that "clearly, the growing number of households tuning in on day one proves that the Marvel Disney+ series are growing in momentum." However, as Deadline also indicates via an unnamed "non-Disney studio insider," SambaTV's reporting is not quite the full picture--the company, which measures streaming viewership in three million households, doesn't include mobile viewers.To be fair, tracking metrics on streaming services is still a bit like the Wild West currently and has been for some time. At long last, we finally have a gameplay trailer for Elden Ring. After being quiet about the game for two years, publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware released a new Elden Ring video as part of the Summer Game Fest Kickoff show. The trailer caps everything off with another surprise: Elden Ring will launch on January 21. Yes, Elden Ring is coming sooner than just about any of us expected.The trailer featured much more acrobatic combat than we're used to in the Souls series or Bloodborne, with characters leaping up into the air and slamming down their swords to deal massive damage. There will be a mix of sword, magic, and gadgets as we saw in Sekiro, but the huge bosses seem to harken more to From's earlier games than the duel-like bosses in its latest title. The game, first revealed at E3 2017, has been absent from the public eye for a long time, making its surprise inclusion in today's event a welcome one.The gameplay demo is brief but does show off some of the improvements the game has undergone since last it was shown off.
