We're not sure how long the deal will be available or if stock is limited, so be sure to grab an Avowed Premium Edition digital code while you can. Avowed Premium Steelbook Edition comes with the same in-game content and extras but costs $95. See at Walmart Avowed is the latest RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and is set in the same fantasy world as the studio's Pillars of Eternity series. However, unlike PoE's classic top-down CRPG gameplay, Avowed is a first-person RPG that builds off the gameplay of the studio's previous title, The Outer Worlds. Imagine a more streamlined version of The Elder Scrolls where you explore a series of densely packed, segmented maps rather than a single giant landscape, and you'll have a good sense of what to expect. While GameSpot scored the game a 6/10 in our review due to some middling story and lackluster companions, Avowed's combat and exploration are excellent and well worth the price of admission--especially at just $50.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Although the 25th anniversary of Devil May Cry won't happen until next year, the party is starting early next month--and getting crazy--with the release of the new anime series. Now, a new trailer for the series demonstrates the over-the-top demonic threats that Dante is going to face when trying to save the world. Fighting armies of demons is one thing, but Dante's enemies are bringing out some military-grade firepower to take him out. Between Papa Roach's Last Resort in this trailer and Limp Bizkit's Rollin' in the show's wild opening credits sequence, Devil May Cry is really doubling down on music from the turn of the 21st century. Dante himself may be humanity's last resort, as White Rabbit (Hoon Lee) leads an invasion from the demonic realm with enough firepower to take down Earth's defenses. However, taking down Dante may prove to be trickier.Power Rangers veteran Johnny Yong Bosch is voicing Dante in the series, and he previously voiced Nero in the Devil May Cry video games. While Nero doesn't appear to be in the show yet, Lady (Scout Taylor-Compton) will be featured as a reluctant ally to Dante, even if she doesn't quite know what to make of him. Meanwhile, Dante's brother, Vergil, makes a dramatic appearance at the end of the trailer.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Getting Fields of Mistria's sprinklers, or Water Sprite Statues to use their official name, involves an in-depth process that pushes you through much of the farm-sim's current endgame. If you're just starting in the game, don't expect to get your hands on them any time soon. It's worth the effort, though, as not only do you get an item that cuts your workload's intensity, but you also get the knowledge to craft the stones that make the sprinklers work. This Fields of Mistria guide explains how to get sprinklers and what you need to craft them.Fields of Mistria sprinklers: How to get the Water Sprite Statue crafting recipeYou can reach this beach at any point, but acquiring the spell that unlocks the cave takes a long time. The sprinkler crafting recipe is in the blocked-off beach cave east of the lighthouse (and so is the auto-petter), which you can now open thanks to a new spell Fields of Mistria's second update added--if you put the work in. You acquire the Dragon's Breath spell during the Breaking the Fire Seal quest, which you also need to complete to meet Caldarus' human form and enter the update's new biomes. The quest requires you to reach the fire seal in the mines on floor 60, which also means breaking through the other seals on the way down. The short version is that this all takes a fair bit of effort, so if you just started, it'll probably be a couple of seasons before you manage to reach this point.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Act II of Destiny 2 Episode Heresy has brought with it a new surprise on the Dreadnought. Along with the whisperings of a familiar foe in players' ears, they will also take on a familiar challenge. The new activity, Court of Blades, is a boss-rush mode similar to the original Court of Oryx activity from Destiny: The Taken King. Here's how the Court of Blades works and what it can give players on completion.Table of Contents [hide]Destiny 2 Court of Blades explainedDestiny 2 Court of Blades explainedThe Court of Blades is an enemy gauntlet activity where players face an escalating series of enemies within a 10-minute time limit. As the activity progresses, there will be two bosses per phase of the activity--one small and one major. Upon spawning into the activity, players will need to each select an Augmentation from one of the two statues on either side of the room they enter. This Augmentation will provide different conditions throughout the fight that players will need to adapt to. These Augmentations will also stack, so multiple conditions can exist simultaneously. Some examples of what can show up include Banish, in which players will need to find and defeat three Taken Wizards quickly or be teleported out of the room mid-fight to a dome-like area where they will need to fight a separate miniboss to escape. Another one is Sharpen, where players will encounter an invincible Knight with a shield that needs to be stripped away using the swords dropped by smaller knights. Keep in mind these objectives exist on top of what needs to be done to defeat the major bosses of each phase.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fields of Mistria's auto-petters are a new convenience that developer NPC Studio added in the farm sim's second major update. These automatically make all your farm critters happy--assuming they're in the same room as the statue. That sounds like a small benefit, but once you have a lot of animals, petting them individually can take a lot of time from your day. This Fields of Mistria auto-petter guide explains how to get the Animal Sprite Statue crafting recipe and make the tool yourself.Fields of Mistria: How to get the Animal Sprite Statue auto-petter crafting recipeIt'll take a few seasons before you're ready to break down this wall.Your first auto-petter and the crafting recipe to make more are sealed away in a cave you've probably passed countless times before. It's the blocked cavern entrance next to Errol's house in The Narrows, southwest of the museum. You need a new spell, Dragon's Breath, to open it, and getting that is no easy task.Fields of Mistria rewards you with the Dragon's Breath spell as part of completing the Breaking the Fire Seal quest, which you also need to complete to meet Caldarus' human form, enter the Lava Caves and Deep Woods biomes, and unlock Water Sprite Statue sprinklers.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

The show takes a GI Joe-inspired approach to its storyline. With M. Bison's Shadaloo crime syndicate threatening the world, Guile puts together a team of elite world warriors like Chun-Li, Blanka, Ryu, and more to take him down. Of course, the series was also designed to be something of a toy commercial, but it's still a fun relic from a bygone age of entertainment. To flesh out your Street Fighter Blu-ray collection, you can pick up a couple of films based on the long-running fighting game franchise. The 1994 live-action movie starring Raul Julia as M. Bison and Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile is still the best of the bunch thanks to its many quotable lines. You can pick it up in either a standard Blu-ray format for $10.33 (was $15) or in a premium Steelbook Edition that's on sale for $25 (was $35), and is perfect for displaying alongside your painting of M. Bison Crossing the Alps. There's also a new 4K remaster of Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie that's on sale for $26.37 (was $35), which has been seen as a massive influence on the series thanks to its stylistic action and groundbreaking animation.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
