With a new month now underway, Niantic has rolled out a new batch of Field Research tasks in Pokemon Go. This month's research missions are themed around Water-types, and if you manage to complete enough of them, you'll earn another chance to capture the Legendary Aurora Pokemon, Suicune.Suicune is one of the three Legendary dogs first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver, alongside Raikou and Entei--both of which were featured in August and September's Field Research tasks, respectively. In order to encounter Suicune, you'll first need to achieve a Research Breakthrough. This is done by collecting seven stamps, one of which is doled out each day you complete a Field Research task.Suicune isn't the only rare Pokemon you'll be able to encounter through the newest set of Field Research. According to the official Pokemon website, you'll also be able to catch a Spinda with a different fur pattern by completing a certain task. Players are also reporting (via Serebii) that Shiny Krabby have begun appearing in the wild for the first time.Unlike Special Research missions, which are assigned by Professor Willow, Field Research tasks are distributed at Poke Stops. Just as with Berries and other items, you'll collect tasks by spinning the photo disc at certain stops. You can find a list of all the known October Field Research quests on Reddit.Along with the new Field Research tasks, Pokemon Go players have a new Community Day event to look forward to this month. The event takes place on Sunday, October 21, and features the Steel/Psychic Pokemon Beldum. Additionally, Niantic recently extended one of the bonuses from the Ultra Bonus Event. Players will still be able to hatch the region-exclusive Pokemon Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros from 7 km Eggs until October 8.Info from Gamespot.com

The Red Dead Redemption 2 reveals are coming in thick and fast in the lead up to release. In September we finally got hands-on with the game, learned more about Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode, and received confirmation that the game is going to require a healthy portion of your hard drive space. Now, developer Rockstar Games has released another gameplay trailer to keep the train rolling. The video, which is being referred to as "Gameplay Video Part 2" shows how the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 throws players into adventures in a way that feels natural. These range from the grand events such as robbing trains and getting up to no good, to having smaller personal moments with members of your gang or random inhabitants of the world. In the video we're also shown more of how the new Dead Eye system works. Interestingly, the special ability now progresses in stages and allows players to paint targets and see critical points, as well as slow time down to aim. We also get a look at some first-person gameplay. There's also a look at customization and the various smaller activities you can engage in, whether that's dressing up, eating, keeping facial hair in check, bathing, or playing games. Of course, you can also duel, go bounty hunting--but through all this, your behavior is being tracked and will have consequences. Check out the gameplay trailer above. The first gameplay trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 made its debut in August and it delivered an in-depth look at the game. We got a little more acquainted with the harsh American landscape Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in, with peeks at the untamed swamplands, sweeping deserts, livestock towns, and cities in the midst of transformation. According to Rockstar, players will be able to travel around these distinct areas seamlessly, and each will serve up a plethora of missions and activities to engage with.Other key aspects of the game it showed off included your relationship with other members of the Van der Linde gang, how players will be able to interact with characters outside of the gang, and horses, which now have personalities and, depending on their breed, will behave differently. We have in-depth coverage Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay from our hands-on time with the game, which allowed us to dig into some of the many gameplay systems and explore some of the depth that the world provides us. We came away pretty impressed with the level of detail in the world and discussed this in our preview video. Since playing the game, Rockstar has released more screenshots and details on gameplay mechanics such as hunting and fishing.Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be available in a number of special editions, and get the details on all of them in our Red Dead Redemption pre-order guide. A PS4 Pro bundle will also be available.Red Dead Redemption 2's online mode, meanwhile, will launch as a beta in November. As with all betas, Rockstar has warned players to expect "teething problems" as the mode may not roll out as smoothly as it intends it to.Info from Gamespot.com

Like Rockstar's previous open-world adventure, Grand Theft Auto V, the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 will be playable in both first- and third-person. The third-person camera is the default perspective, as in the original Red Dead Redemption, but you can also choose to play from a first-person viewpoint, lending a much different feel to the experience. [Update: Rockstar has released the second gameplay trailer for RDR2, showcasing a number of the game's new features and systems. That includes a brief look toward the end of the video at first-person mode, as we see what it looks like to raid a home and ride on horseback through the eyes of Arthur Morgan.]As was the case with GTA V, the first-person perspective can help bring you into the game at a deeper level. Riding a horse in first-person gives you a new sense of perspective and place, while combat can feel more confronting. Some wacky stuff can happen, too. In my session, I was walking through town in first-person when I got run over by a horse who was trotting by. With a third-person camera I would have seen it coming.GTA V launched in 2013 without a first-person option. It was added to the game when GTA V launched years later on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The feature was also included with the subsequent PC release--a platform Red Dead Redemption 2 is only rumored to be coming to. RDR2 is taking after GTA V in a number of ways beyond just this camera view; its multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online, will launch as a beta a month after the base game's release. For more details, check out our Red Dead Redemption 2 preview that covers everything we learned from going hands-on with the game. As part of Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 6, developer Epic Games has given the Island on which people build, break, loot, and kill as part of the game's Battle Royale mode some tweaks. As detailed in the Fortnite update 6.0 patch notes, there are a number of new locations to check out, and the map has been updated to reflect this.Although it might be tricky to tell exactly what's changed without actually being on the ground and exploring yourself, there's a few changes that you can see on the map immediately. First of all, loot lake is now been blackened, with a smaller land mass visible in the middle. This landmass is now a floating island, which players can reach by gliding onto it, building up to it, or jumping into the lake and being bounced up to it.The other big change to the map is the new corrupted areas, which you can see on the map as black spots. These provide a nice new visual change for players to enjoy, but there also might be some secrets hidden away in them. The patch notes outright name four new locations for Season 6: Floating Island, Corrupted Areas, Corn Fields, Haunted Castle. However, the notes also advise players to "drop in and find the rest in-game," so there's bound to be plenty more. Take a look at the new-look map above. The other major new addition that arrives with Season 6 is Pets. As you might have guessed, this feature allows you to play the game with a little critter joining you on your journey. There's also a new consumable called Shadow Stones. The latest updated also throws the Impulse Grenade, Suppressed Submachine Gun, Light Machine Gun, Bouncer, and Remote Explosives into the Vault. However, these weapons and items are available to use in Playgrounds. Take a look at the full Fortnite update 6.0 patch notes here.Info from Gamespot.com

The release of Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 6 means that there's a brand-new Battle Pass, which in turn offers a whole bunch of new cosmetic goodies for players to work towards unlocking. Of these, arguably the most coveted will be the skins and outfits--and Season 6 has more than a few cool ones to check out and try to get your hands on.Two of these skins are Legendary tier and have a cool touch where they evolve through different stages, becoming more detailed as they go along. The first is the Calamity skin, which begins as a female character rocking a cowboy hat, a white tank top, and some shorts. However, as the skin evolves she gets a bandana, a coat, and eventually a long coat (making her look like a Bloodborne hunter), which is then adorned with neon purple trim. The second Legendary outfit is called Dire, which is unlocked by reaching the max rank of level 100 with the paid Battle Pass. The male character starts off fairly simple, wearing some jeans, a red zip-up jumper, a biker coat and a red headband. However, the iterations on the skin go full Teen Wolf, as he grows a snout, fur, sharp teeth, eventually becoming a full on werewolf complete with shredded clothes, talons, and a 'tude.Click image to view in full screenThe other skins are also pretty neat. DJ Yonder is Fortnite's llama if it was a member of Daft Punk; Giddy-Up has your character looking like it's riding on a llama; Fable is inspired by Little Red Riding Hood; Dusk has a vampiric theme; and Nightshade features a well-dressed jack-o'-lantern. You can take a look at those skins above. There's plenty more beyond skins to unlock as part of the Season 6 Battle Pass, however, and the other emotes, back blings, contrails, sprays, and banner icons are all very cool. You can see everything in our gallery of all the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass rewards. The first week of challenges is also upon us and, as always, we've got a breakdown of what you'll need to do here. The hardest challenge for Week 1 can be found in the paid Battle Pass tier and involves finding seven Streetlight Spotlights and then dancing beneath them. We've put together a map of where we found them, and a video, so you can use these to get it done too. Check out our Fortnite Season 6 Week 1 challenge guide for more details.Info from Gamespot.com

The layoffs impacted "all divisions" at Telltale, and were part of Telltale's ambition to become "more competitive as a developer and publisher"December 2017:Telltale's CEO Pete Hawley talks to GamesBeat about the layoffs and the future of Telltale. Venom and Spider-Man are linked inseparably in fans' minds, and for good reason. In the comic books, Venom's entire characterization, from its motivations to its appearance, revolves around Spidey. So making the Venom movie without any reference to Spider-Man seems like a gargantuan task--a fact Venom director Ruben Fleischer is well aware of.The most glaring representation of Spider-Man's absence in Venom is easily the lack of the Symbiote's iconic white spider logo that's normally emblazoned across its chest, which Fleischer addressed at Comic-Con. As he rightfully points out, giving Venom a spider logo in this movie "makes no sense." And as he told GameSpot during a recent interview, figuring out how to make up for Spidey's absence in the movie was "the most challenging part" of production."That was the only real thing that was a limitation, was the fact that we couldn't feature Spider-Man at all in the movie," he said. "If there's no Spider-Man, then there wouldn't be any reason to have a spider on his chest. And so it did take a lot of time to figure out what to put in its place, and we ended up with that veiny white pattern, which I think looks super cool. But yeah, we did a ton of iterations of different designs for what the chest would ultimately look like."That was the most challenging part, because you have something that's so iconic, and anything you put in its place just doesn't look right. So it took a lot of time to find something that was distinctive and subtle."Naturally, Venom's look wasn't the only aspect of the character that had to be altered for this movie. There's also the question of the Symbiote's motivation--why does it ally itself with Eddie Brock, if not for their mutual hatred of Spider-Man?"Yeah, we had to manufacture that, because obviously in the comics they bond over the fact that they both hate Spider-Man," Fleischer said. "Since we didn't have that as something for them to connect over, we went with the idea that they're kindred spirits, and that Venom sees in Eddie somebody like himself who--on his planet, maybe Venom's a bit of a loser too, and then on our planet he decides he can be a big fish in a small pond. "In all honesty, I think we had to ground the relationship in something to justify Venom's betrayal of his own race. And we tried to make it that there was just a real connection between Eddie and Venom, because of their common worldview."The Venom spin-off movie has been in the works since at least 2008, but it's unclear how much work from earlier versions was incorporated into the latest iteration. According to Fleischer, the version of the movie he's worked on--the draft penned by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner--never had Spider-Man in it. "So it's not like we had to extract him from it," Fleischer said. "It was always, from its inception, built as an origin story with a new approach. And I thought of it as an Ultimate version of Venom, like an Ultimate movie version of Venom."Given that they had to change so much about the character, Fleischer tried to stay true to the comics in as many other ways as possible, from the visuals to the writing. Lines of dialogue are ripped straight from the pages, while Fleischer used his favorite comics panels as inspiration for Venom's visual design."I think in that first closeup when you see him, when he first appears with Treece, and he's holding him by the throat, he just looks like he's actually there, which I'm really proud of," he said. "I really felt a responsibility, especially since we couldn't put the spider on his chest, that we make Venom be as true to the comics as possible despite that fact."Venom star Tom Hardy recently said that his favorite scenes from the movie didn't make it into the final cut, while Venom co-creator Todd McFarlane revealed how he would have changed the movie. Meanwhile, we ranked every Venom universe Symbiote based on how '90s Xtreme they are.Venom hits theaters Friday, October 5. Info from Gamespot.com

Epic Games has done a fantastic job of ensuring that Fortnite keeps its fans engaged by regularly dropping in fresh content to unlock and giving aspects of the gameplay new twists. That continues with the release of the latest major update, which kicks off Season 6.For this season, there's a whole bunch of new cosmetics items to unlock (including skins and pets), but also plenty of gameplay opportunities to discover, ranging from bouncing around on Loot Lake to turning into ghosts by using the Shadow Stone (which were disabled due to a bug). Those are just a couple of examples, but below you'll find a complete breakdown of everything new to Fortnite from the Season 6 update. Expect for things to develop further, as we've already seen that the new Floating Island is on the move.Fortnite Update 6 Full Patch NotesFortnite Season 6 launched alongside patch 6.0, which introduces a number of new features, changes, and tweaks. In addition to the Battle Pass refresh, which delivers over 100 new cosmetic items to unlock, there's Pets, location overhauls, weapons and items put in to the vault, and more. Check out the full Fortnite 6.0 patch notes for all the details.New Map LocationsThe island on which Fortnite's battle royale takes place has undergone multiple changes across the various seasons thus far, and Season 6 is no different. Epic Games has confirmed that there are at least four new locations to check out: Floating Island, Corrupted Areas, Corn Fields, and Haunted Castle. Players have been directed to "drop in and find the rest in-game," indicating there are further secrets to be found on the island.Battle Pass Skins And Other RewardsWith over 100 new cosmetic items to unlock as part of the Battle Pass for Season 6, Fortnite players are going to have a busy time grinding challenges and racking up kills in Battle Royale. To give everyone a target to strive for, we've put together a complete gallery of every reward in the Battle Pass, so you can see all the skins, bling, sprays, emotes, banner icons, and music added in the season.Cool New Evolving SkinsClick image to view in full screenWe've got a specific article where you can have a look at the new skins. Although all the skins are cool, there's two specifically that are particularly worthy of attention. The first is a Legendary skin called Calamity, which levels up and transforms a female character from a standard model wearing a cowboy hat, shorts, and a t-shirt to someone straight out of Bloodborne. Similarly, the Dire legendary outfit takes a male character and transforms him into a werewolf, clearly inspired by the movie Teen Wolf.Battle Pass DetailsHere's everything you need to know about Fortnite Season 6's Battle Pass. Although players can complete challenges and unlock some rewards without having to pay money, to make the most of Fortnite Season 6 you'll need to purchase a Battle Pass, which is available in-game for 950 V-Bucks.PetsThe other big new addition is Pets. There are currently three of them, and they'll hang with in your time in the game. There's three Pets in total right now, and you can see them here. Naturally, they're very cute, but they also react to the world around them, growling when you enter combat and looking terrified if you jump from crazy heights, which is a nice touch.Challenge GuidesOf course, all the unlockables in Season 6 require you to complete challenges and level up the Battle Pass. As always, we're to help with that. You can find the Fortnite Season 6, Week 1 challenge guide and an overall Season 6 challenge guide.Info from Gamespot.com

The mysterious island floating above Loot Lake in Fortnite has started moving, though to exactly what end remains unclear. For those that haven't been keeping up with the latest happenings in Fortnite, a strange purple cube appeared in the game and plunged itself into Loot Lake just before the start of Season 6. Once the season kicked off, however, it floated into the air, taking a chunk of land up there with it. [Update: The island is up to stuff, and it doesn't appear to be moving randomly.]Currently, the cube and the attached island seems to be just moving between locations on the Fortnite map. Fans have speculated that the it's moving between the runes that the cube left on the map towards the end of Season 5, before it dropped into Loot Lake.Data miners also seem to have discovered evidence that, in addition to travelling around the map, the cube will grow in size. A folder called "CubeGrowth" has been discovered in game files, which could lend further weight to the speculation that this is all part of upcoming event that developer Epic Games is planning. So, the cube is going to grow this season 👀 pic.twitter.com/LgbjWT27AL — Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks (@FNBRLeaks) September 28, 2018As previously stated, Season 6 of Fortnite has kicked off and there have been some pretty significant changes to the game. In addition to a few new areas on the map--some thanks in part to the cube, again--Epic has also introduced a number of new items, including Pets. While they are undoubtedly the cutest new addition, you'll probably be wanting to see all the cool new skins and cosmetics, and we have a Season 6 rewards gallery for that. If you need help unlocking these, you can complete Fortnite's latest challenges using our Season 6 challenge roundup.Another surprise fans received alongside the launch of Fortnite Season 6 was cross-play on PS4. An open beta that allows for "gameplay, progression, and commerce" across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac, Android, iOS of the game is currently underway. There has been no shortage of strange happenings in Fortnite recently, particularly in the weeks lead up to the start of Season 6. The infamous purple cube that appeared in the desert back in August sunk into Loot Lake at the end of Season 5, and it has since risen into the air, taking a giant chunk of land with it. Now that floating island is on the move, and it's having a dramatic effect on the landscape. This past weekend, Fortnite's floating island began traveling around the map. It's unclear where it's heading, but it appears to be retracing the same path it first took as the cube back in Season 5, revisiting all of the runes it initially left in its wake. Shortly after it started moving, Fortnite Master reported that it made its way southwest of Pleasant Park, where it raised the chunk of land on which the rune rested into the air and created volcanic craters beneath it.It remains to be seen what this portends for Fortnite this season, but the craters themselves don't seem to have any negative effects on players. Jumping into them will simply cause you to bounce out, as was the case when the cube plunged into Loot Lake and turned the entire body of water purple and bouncy. We may not know why the floating island is traveling around the map, but it appears it will continue change as the season rolls on. Dataminers have discovered a folder called "CubeGrowth" within the game's files, which seems to suggest that the cube will increase in size, although Epic hasn't formally confirmed this.Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale is now underway on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. In addition to some notable map changes, Epic released a new Battle Pass, which features an assortment of new cosmetic items--such as Pets--to get your hands on. You can see all of them in our Season 6 rewards gallery. You can also find tips on how to complete Fortnite's latest challenges in our Season 6 challenge roundup if you need help unlocking them.Info from Gamespot.com

We won't pretend that you have no idea who Venom is, because let's face it, that giant tongue and those massive fangs are pretty ubiquitous when it comes to comic book iconography these days. But there's a lot more to that hulking, black suited Spider-Monster than meets the eye, and with Tom Hardy about bring Eddie Brock to theaters for the first time since Topher Grace in Spider-Man 3, now is the perfect time to brush up on those symbiote-related facts.First things first: Eddie Brock is not actually Venom the way that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. This isn't a secret identity situation, they're actually two separate entities. Eddie Brock is a human, and Venom is what's known as a symbiote--or, if you want to get technical, a member of the Klyntar race, an ooze-like alien organism that takes over a host. It's important to remember that, because while Eddie is arguably the most famous Venom host, he's definitely not the only one. Unlike most superhero identities, though, it's not a mantle that is passed around or handed down. It's literally a matter of the Venom symbiote moving from host to host.Symbiotes actually have maybe the most bizarre and humble origins in superhero comics. They started as a fan submitted idea for a new costume for Spider-Man back in the mid '80s. That's right--a costume. A fan named Randy Schueller thought Pete would look cool in an upgraded costume with some new powers, Marvel agreed, and they bought the idea from him for a mere $220. From there, things quickly started to snowball. Pete's new costume was given a pretty wacky origin story as an unspecified alien "entity" that conveniently replaced his tattered classic costume at the end of the major Marvel event Secret Wars. This new black and white costume had all kinds of cool properties, like self healing from damage and shifting seamlessly into street clothes when Pete needed a quick change--a pretty convenient thing for comic book writers and artists who suddenly no longer had to worry about pesky continuity troubles like wounds and costume changes. The new costume also produced its own webbing, which was stronger and had better range than the old stuff. The catch was, of course, that the new suit wasn't actually a suit, but a parasitic alien creature who could mimic the properties of clothing. This revelation came just a handful of months after the black costume's big debut, in an issue titled appropriately, "The Sinister Secret of Spider-Man's New Costume."Venom itself didn't get a name or a real identity beyond Pete's renegade alien suit until over a year later, when Eddie Brock entered the scene. Basically, Eddie was developed as a scorned reporter with a grudge against Spider-Man and placed in the scene near Pete's initial "defeat" of his costume. The symbiote, feeling like a jilted lover for Pete's rejection, sensed Eddie's burning hatred and, naturally, went straight for him. This gave writers and artists an easy way to start playing with all the potential left on the table by the symbiotic black suit without having to kick off an entirely new origin story or do any more exposition--all the framework had been laid and left behind during Secret Wars. Once they were officially bonded, Eddie and Venom maintained a pretty tumultuous relationship that tended to fluctuate between an equal partnership and a parasite/host dynamic. Eddie struggled (and often failed) to keep Venom's homicidal urges in check. Frequently, Venom would threaten wanting eat people (a trait we know for sure is making a live action debut, thanks to the Venom trailers) but Eddie usually managed to reign it in and keep things mostly non-cannibalistic. Mostly.Later, it was explained that Venom's willingness to actually work with its hosts rather than just use them up and burn them out was actually extremely atypical for symbiote society and had led to Venom being branded "insane" on its homeworld. Over the years, Eddie and Venom's bond would be tested, broken, reformed, and tested again, leading to a string for new hosts like Mac Gargan, a supervillain formerly known as Scorpion who was given the symbiote by Norman Osborn, and Flash Thompson, Peter Parker's reformed high school bully who was given the symbiote by the government for an experimental procedure designed to weaponize its abilities as a black ops soldier while neutralizing its ability to think and act for itself. As far as powers and abilities are concerned, Venom can do basically everything that Spider-Man can do, including honing in on its very own knock off spider-sense. It can also shapeshift around its host body, taking basically any form including weapons, extra limbs--you name it. Venom's symbiotic relationship with its host also gives the host enhanced endurance and a considerable healing ability. However, Venom, like most symbiotes, is extremely weak to certain sonic frequencies and fire. Also, depending on the host, Venom's homicidal impulses may not be under control, making it a pretty considerable chaos factor, especially if the host and the symbiote are trying to work towards to different goals--you know, like killing and eating people versus not killing and eating people. As far as what to expect from the movie version, most if not all of Venom's recognizable characteristics are probably going to make the big screen leap with one notable exception. Because this version exists in a cinematic universe isolated from Spider-Man, the classic origin is obviously going to be missing. This likely won't make too much of a difference, but it will mean that Venom won't have his iconic white Spider-logo (something he adapted when trying to mimic Peter's costume) and won't be bonding with Eddie because of their mutual need to get back at Spider-Man. By the look of things, however, its powers and abilities will all be exactly what you can expect, as well as its complicated--but sort of mutually beneficial--relationship with Eddie Brock.Venom hits theaters October 5. The first week of Fortnite Season 6 is here, so you have a whole new set of challenges to complete. Along the lines of how thing worked last season, three of these are available for free to all players. The other four require the purchase of this season's Battle Pass, which goes for 950 V-Bucks and allows you to unlock a wide variety of cosmetic rewards.Despite it being a new season with several major changes, there isn't anything drastically new with what you'll have to do to complete all seven challenges. If you've been keeping up with Fortnite these past few months, then this week's challenges should all be fairly familiar. The first three free challenges will net you a total of 13 Battle Stars, and completing the four Battle Pass challenges rewards you with another 16.We've listed the seven challenges and their respective rewards below.Fortnite Season 6, Week 1 ChallengesFreePick up a Legendary Item in different matches (3) -- 5 Battle StarsRegain health from a Cozy Campfire (15) -- 5 Battle StarsStage 1: Seach Chests (3) -- 3 Battle StarsBattle PassApply Shields (500) -- 5 Battle StarsStage 1: Land at Junk Junction (1) -- 1 Battle StarDance under different Streetlight Spotlights (7) -- 10 Battle StarsEliminate opponents in different Named Locations (5) -- 10 Battle StarsThe third Battle Pass challenge will probably take you the most time to complete just because you need to find the seven spotlights to dance under. Each spotlight is pretty easy to spot--look for streetlights that have a speaker playing music--but you'll still need to trek across the entire map to find them all.Below is our map of the eight spotlights we've found, which should help speed up the process. Remember, you only need to dance under seven of them.Fortnite is available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. Sony has relented on its previous stance against console cross-play with Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, so Fortnite now supports cross-play across all platforms.Info from Gamespot.com

At E3 this year, Bethesda finally showed the first gameplay footage for its upcoming multiplayer role-playing game Fallout 76. That footage was produced by Bethesda and structured in a specific way to show only certain encounters. But very soon, we'll be seeing a lot more footage of the always-online Fallout game that stands to be very different from what we've seen before.Bethesda is currently hosting a press and media event at the classic American hotel The Greenbrier which is located in West Virginia, the setting of Fallout 76. Attendees are getting to play the game and later post footage and impressions at a later date, potentially next week. Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines said he expects this footage to vary substantially, as players can go into the wasteland and do whatever they want.I know a lot of folks are asking about gameplay. Well, I can confirm we are doing an event soon. And we are going to let a lot of people capture a few hours of gameplay doing whatever they want to do. So before long you will have hundreds (!!!) of hours of gameplay to watch. — Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) September 27, 2018Fallout 76 launches in November for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but you may not have to wait that long to play. There will be a beta starting on October 23 for Xbox One, and it will launch a week later for PS4 and PC. You must pre-order Fallout 76 to get into the beta, but if you do, you'll get to play the entire game, and your progress carries forward. In other Fallout 76 news, Bethesda has confirmed that the game will not support cross-play. That's notable because Sony just started allowing this for Epic's Fortnite. Info from Gamespot.com
