The first look at Season 3 of the HBO Max original series Titans, the live-action take on the Teen Titans comic book series, has arrived and things look dire. The third season of the show, which premieres August 12 on HBO Max, is largely set in Gotham City and, based on this short teaser, The Joker might be on his way.In the clip, Jason Todd is in his Robin suit when he finds a dead person with a permanent smile plastered on their face as a maniacal laugh is heard. Clearly, this is hinting at Joker, though there's been no confirmation that the clown prince of crime will actually pop up on the show. Interestingly, though, we also see someone being beaten with a crowbar--and a later show of a blood-soaked crowbar.This definitely hints at the death of Jason Todd, who was tortured and beaten to death by Joker in the comics. Still, even though the trailer is implying we'll see that in Season 3 of Titans, it's already been revealed that Jason will take on the Red Hood persona in the next batch of episodes, which in the comics is the mantle he takes on following his resurrection. During its Xbox Games Showcase Extended, Microsoft revealed that A Plague Tale: Innocence will be getting an Xbox Series X|S upgrade on July 6. The upgrade enhances the game, making it optimized for the new generation of Xbox.This means that A Plague Tale: Innocence will get visual enhancements, playing in 4K resolution at 60fps. As part of the Xbox Games Showcase Extended event on Thursday, Microsoft shared some news about what's next for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and this includes a new feature.A future update for Microsoft Flight Simulator will add a "land anywhere" feature that lets you do just that. Developer Jorg Neumann said one piece of feedback the team has seen since launch is that landing at a busy airport and the complexities involved with that--like communicating with the air traffic controllers--can be stressful and difficult. With that in mind, the team is working on a new feature that lets you land literally anywhere you want.Additionally, Neumann said the forthcoming Xbox release of Microsoft Flight Simulator will have 22 tutorials, which compares to the eight on PC. Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes make their return to Destiny 2 starting with the weekly reset on Tuesday, June 22. The high-level Strike missions offer some intense challenges for Destiny 2 players, but also pack some of the best rewards you can get in the game. The Season of the Splicer will offer three new guns as possible Nightfall rewards in Grandmasters, and you're going to want to snag them.Bungie outlined what we can expect from the return of Grandmaster Nightfalls in its This Week At Bungie blog post. Grandmasters will become available at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on June 22 to correspond with the usual weekly reset. You'll find them under the Vanguard Nightfall node in the Director, but you'll need to be very powerful to take them on--your character and teammates will need to sport a Power level of 1335.Nightfall rewards this season have included the Hung Jury scout rifle, Plug One.1 fusion rifle, and Uzume RR4 sniper rifle, which are all back from Destiny 1. Grandmaster Nightfalls offer Adept versions of these guns, which have even better possible stats than the usual versions. Call of Duty's Season 4 arrived on June 17 for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and along with a host of other changes, Warzone's Verdansk '84 now has armored trucks.In addition to Warzone's Big Bertha cargo trucks, players can now obtain very powerful armored vehicles, which are similar to the armored trucks previously found in the Armored Royale limited-time mode. During the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation, the company released a roughly 90-second trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it was more than enough to inspire all kinds of fan theories. One theory in particular stands out though, from Barrett Courtney of Kinda Funny, who thinks that the more rugged-looking Link in the trailer is in fact Ganondorf.Courtney theorized that part of the game would be playing the fall of Ganondorf, which begins the cycle of a hero battling a corrupted Ganon that happens in every game. He thinks that the hero from 10,000 years ago that has been teased is Ganondorf and that the character with the corrupted arm in the trailer--whose face is not shown--isn't Link but in fact Ganondorf."This game will be learning about the fall of Ganondorf the man and then saving him from the evil that has been ruling over him for generations. Ewan McGregor has climbed aboard Everest alongside Mark Strong and Sam Heughan, a thriller from Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman based on the fictional account of George Mallory's life in the novel Paths of Glory, Deadline reports.Everest will star McGregor (Trainspotting, Star Wars) as real-life climber George Mallory. In 1921, Mallory and a crew of climbers and sherpas made the first attempt at conquering Mt. Everest. Mark Strong (Shazam!) will play Arthur Hinks, who selects Mallory to lead the climb, while Heughan (Outlander) will play the part of Mallory's rival, Australian climber George Finch. Filming will reportedly begin in January in the UK and Italy.Mallory led three attempts at summiting Everest, the third of which, made in 1924, ended in his death. His body was lost for 75 years, before finally recovered by a BBC-sponsored expedition. It's unknown whether Mallory successfully reached the peak of Everest, as his camera was never found.
