Compared to its predecessor, horses play a much bigger role in Red Dead Redemption 2 than you might think. So much so that it can be overwhelming if you haven’t been paying close attention to the tutorial messages. Horses have been made to feel like living, breathing creatures this time around, and as such, you need to commit to taking care of them and being cautious of their temperament. To help you wrap your head around Red Dead Redemption 2's horses, we detail below and in the video above everything you need to know to properly care for your steed. If you're more of an experienced rider and want to know what are the best horses out there, we've gathered that information in our best horses guide. For more guides like this, be sure to check out our guides roundup containing features highlighting all the tips you should know before playing and things the game doesn't tell you. And if you want to have some extra fun, be sure to read our feature detailing the game's cheat codes. Though, if you're a curious outsider looking in and want to know whether or not this game for you, then read our Red Dead 2 review if you haven't already. How To Ride Your Horse And Maintain Its CoresHorse controls are relatively simple. Tap the X or A button repeatedly to speed up and R1 or RB to slow down. You can double tap and hold X or A to match a companion's speed, and if you tap X or A in rhythm with your horse's gallop you will conserve stamina. As you ride your horse, you’ll want to keep an eye on its Cores. Like Arthur's Cores, the heart is your horse's Health Core and the lightning bolt is its Stamina Core--they've just got fancy little horseshoes in them. The symbol at the center of the circle represents the Core, while the ring meter that surrounds it is known as a bar.The more you push your horse, the quicker the Stamina bar will deplete. And if you don’t feed your horse every now and then, its Cores will drain and it won’t have as much Stamina or Health in its associated bars. It will also look sad and run with its head down, so try to stock up on horse foods and revival items from the General Store to keep your horse well.Your horse will get dirty over time as you ride it. If this happens, its meters will drain 25% quicker. You can clean it with your brush or by riding it through water. The former is acquired after completing the story mission, "Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego." It's also worth noting that your horse's cores will refill when you sleep. There are ways to notice when something is awry with your horse. A flashing red exclamation point in the Stamina Core indicates your horse is scared/stressed (you need to press L3 to calm it) while a flashing red brush in the health core means your horse is dirty.Leveling Your HorseWhile mostly identical to how Arthur's Cores work, where horse Cores differ is how you increase their level. Instead of leveling them up by moving and withstanding damage, you develop your horse's Cores and bars by forming a stronger bond with them. As you ride, feed, and clean your horse, your bond will strengthen. And as that bond grows, your horse's Health and Stamina bars will increase.Your horse will even learn advanced maneuvers. At level 2, you can rear your horse back by pressing R1 or RB with square or X. There isn't really a use for this other than to look threatening from time to time--that or to just feel like a cool cowboy from an old western film. At level 3 you learn how to skid. While sprinting, press R1 or RB and you can either bring your horse to a halt or change directions at a moment's notice. Finally at level 4 you learn how to drift and piaffe, which is a fancy word for strafe. As your bond increases your horse will also respond to your call from greater and greater distances, and its stats, including speed, will get a slight bump. If you wanna see how close you are to the next level, you can check the player menu when you the press the pause button. You can expedite bonding by feeding your horse treats. And the stronger your bond is with a horse, the longer it will take to bleed out if it gets knocked down. It takes 60 minutes real time for a level 4 horse to die, so that gives you plenty of time to get to town and purchase a horse reviver from the General Store.Horse Stables And Upgrading Your Horse's StatsIf you wanna get the most out of your level 4 horse, you’ll want to stop at a stable and upgrade its saddle. Most items for sale are cosmetics, but there are a few things that can improve your horse's stats, like the stirrups and the saddles. But WAIT, you say! I can’t seem to enter the stable, and I can’t find a stupid brush to clean my horse. Well that probably means you’re screwing around too much and not doing any story missions. Once you complete "Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego," you will have access to stables across the map and your horse brush. While at the stables, you can also rename, sell, and buy horses. You can sell both stolen horses and horses you’ve acquired legally. Stolen horses won’t fetch as good a price at stables, but at a certain point in the story you will meet some characters willing to purchase stolen horses for a better profit. Level 4 horses will also fetch a higher price, so if you plan on flipping a horse, so we recommend leveling it up first.Breaking HorsesIf you are looking to buy a horse, the first thing you’ll probably notice is that good horses ain’t cheap. As attached as you'll become with your first, Tennessee Walker, he's not exactly the powerhouse you’ll want by your side throughout the entire game. And if the best horses are too expensive, that means you'll have to find some out in the wild and break 'em yourself. Lucky for you, one of the best horses in the game can be acquired for free at the beginning of chapter 2 and onward. But before we get to that, let’s learn how to break a horse. As you explore the world, you’ll find wild horses everywhere. Big horses, little horses, painted horses, black horses, and so on. There are a dozen different breeds roaming the frontier, all with unique stats and attributes. If you see a horse you’re interested in, first take out your binoculars. Once you study the horse you will be given a prompt to “show info." Hit that, and you can check out the horses stats and its breed details. There are two ways to go about breaking a horse. You can chase it down, lasso it, and hop on its back, or you can approach it slowly, calming it if it gets spooked. Once you get close enough, you can hop on its back. While you might be inclined to take on the first method, it's much easier to break a horse if you approach it slowly. Once you’re on its back, pull back the left stick and subtly tilt the right stick to balance while calming it with square or X. If it bucks you, chase it down. When it calms down a bit, you can repeat the process. How To Find One Of The Best Horses Early: The White-Maned ArabianOnce you feel comfortable breaking horses, pack up a thick jacket and head up to the Grizzlies to find the White-Maned Arabian. This snow-white beauty wanders around Lake Isabella and can be found early on. It's quite difficult to tame, so you're going to need to be persistent in following it around and calming it down enough before you can approach it. If it bucks you and escapes, well, it’s gonna be a while before another one respawns.Once you do break it, put your saddle on it and take it to the nearest stable. Technically the horse will be yours once you put the saddle on, but take it back to a stable just in case--you can never be too careful!Info from Gamespot.com

Riding on horseback is the primary of getting around in Red Dead Redemption 2's massive world. Before long, you'll find yourself rearing up a multitude of horses in search of the one that'll get you around the quickest. With not much in the way of fast travel, having a horse that's not only fast but can withstand the burdens of exploration is essential. While the question of which horse is the absolute best comes down to preference, there are a few breeds that can be classified as some of the top candidates. Below we discuss these breeds and highlight their locations. If you're looking for a more in-depth guide on horse care and how to boost your trusty steed's performance while making bank along the way, we've got one in the hopper coming soon, so be sure to check back often to get all the information on how to be a proper horse trainer.Be mindful that there are some light location spoilers below given how most of these horses can only be acquired later in the game. You should be good for the White-Maned Arabian breed, but be careful when looking at the details below if you want to steer clear of potential story bits. For more guides, you should check out our features highlighting all the tips you should know before playing and things the game doesn't tell you. Though, we also have guides on more specific subjects, like gun customization and money making. Be sure to read our Red Dead 2 review if you haven't already. And if you want to have some extra fun, be sure to read our feature detailing the game's cheat codes. What Are The Best Breeds? As stated, there is no singular "best horse" in the game. There are only strong breeds that fair much better than the standard breeds you encounter early on. Speaking on the different types: the Arabian, Turkoman, and Missouri Fox Trotter breeds stand out as the most well-rounded and top-tier. Keep in mind that the stats below reflect the horse when you find it and not at its top condition.ArabianArabian breed horses have some of the best stats overall. There are three coat types in total, each with their own unique statistics: White, Black, and Rose Grey Bay.White-Maned ArabianThe White-Maned Arabian can only be found in the wild, which makes it possible to find relatively early on. This snow-white beauty wanders around the edges of Lake Isabella. It's quite difficult to tame, so you're going to need to be persistent in following it around and calming it down enough before you can approach it.Compared to other Arabian horses, it has the lowest base Health and Stamina stats--though, it's still much higher than any of the more standard horse breeds. A worthy compromise for a fantastic horse you can catch and tame so early in the game. Just watch out for the wolves who hang out nearby.SpeedAccelerationHandlingType66EliteSuperiorBlack ArabianThe Black-Maned Arabian horse can be purchased at the Saint Denis Stable during Chapter 4. It has most the well-rounded stats of the Arabian Horses with decent Health and Stamina.SpeedAccelerationHandlingType66EliteSuperiorRose Grey Bay-Maned ArabianThe Rose Grey Bay-Maned Arabian can only be bought at the Blackwater Stable during the Epilogue section of the game. It has the highest Health and Stamina of the three Arabian horses.SpeedAccelerationHandlingType66EliteSuperiorTurkomanTurkoman breed horses make up their lacking acceleration with solid speed, average handling, and a high Health pool. As a cross between War and Racing breeds, they're well worth owning for riders who want a trusty steed who can withstand damage without sacrificing speed. All three Turkoman breeds have the same exact stats, which are reflected below along with a brief breakdown of where you can purchase them and when.SpeedAccelerationHandlingType65StandardRace / WarGold Turkoman: Sold at the Saint Denis Stable during Chapter 4.Dark Bay Turkoman: Sold at the Blackwater Stable during the Epilogue.Silver Turkoman: Sold at the Tumbleweed Stable during the Epilogue.Missouri Fox TrotterThe Missouri Fox Trotter balances the best base speed of all the horse breeds with solid Health and high Stamina. As a mix between the Race and Work breeds, the Missouri Fox Trotter comes highly recommended for those who want all of the perks and benefits of a fast riding horse with resilient Stamina. Like the Turkoman breed, all of the Missouri Fox Trotter coats have the same exact stats, which are reflected below along with a brief breakdown of where you can purchase them and when.SpeedAccelerationHandlingType75StandardRace / WorkAmber Champagne: Sold at Scarlett Meadows Stable during Chapter 4.Silver Dapple Pinto: Sold at Blackwater Stable during the Epilogue.Info from Gamespot.com

The newest release from GTA developer Rockstar Game, Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, is a game that is filled with secrets and details. Its core story alone takes 50-plus hours to complete as you slowly accumulate wealth and honor. But if you're someone looking for a shortcut, we've got you covered. Much like the original game and GTA V, Red Dead 2 features an assortment of cheat codes that unlock additional resources, with some injecting odd gimmicks and quirks into your game. Bear in mind, you shouldn't expect these to work in Red Dead Online when that releases in late November. To find the Cheats menu in Red Dead Redemption 2, press the pause button and select the Settings option. In this menu, press Triangle or Y (on PS4 and Xbox One, respectively) to pull up the Cheats menu. From here, you'll find a long list of locked cheats. Initially, you won't know what any of these do or how to unlock them. Many of these codes can be activated by putting in the correct phrase, but others will require some extra time and effort. In addition to finding passwords while exploring the world, some of which are written into the ground, throughout the game you'll find newspapers for sale in towns, and some of these offer clues as to how to unlock these extra fun options. More newspapers will become available after completing main missions, which you'll see detailed in news articles. While many of these cheats introduce some mostly benign bits of fun--such as keeping your character, Arthur Morgan, perpetually drunk--activating these codes at any time will have some consequences for your save game. Once you activate these codes, all Trophies and Achievements will be deactivated on this particular file. As a result, before trying any of these codes, be sure to make a separate file for your main save. With over 30 codes to unlock, some of which have some specific requirements, we've collected a list of cheats that we've uncovered thus far. We also have a separate feature discussing some of the most entertaining and best cheats in Red Dead Redemption 2. Be sure to check back with GameSpot as we update this page with new codes, and how to find them.Cheat CodeNameDescriptionHow To UnlockA fool on commandDrunkAlways stay drunk (can be turned off in cheat menu)No requirementsAbundance is the dullest desireInfinite AmmoUnlimited ammunition for all weapons.Unlocked by purchasing the New Hanover Gazette No. 27 in Valentine or the Blackwater Ledger No. 62. In Red Dead Redemption 2, hunting is an important part of exploration and survival in the vast open world. In addition to finding food and other necessary supplies, you'll be able to use materials taken from fallen prey to craft outfits and talismans, which unlock special perks that amplify Arthur's main attributes. As you travel, you may even stumble upon an elusive animal that other explorers have rarely seen. Your first encounter with such a beast will be the Legendary Grizzly Bear, which can offer up a legendary bear pelt if you're able take it down. These Legendary Animals can be found across the many regions of the map and take some extra effort to hunt. While some of these are small in stature, there are many that tower in size over Arthur and are quite dangerous in a fight. But if you're able to take them out, you'll acquire the means to craft some of the game's most valuable accessories and outfits. These particular animals offer the rarest pelts and materials you can find, which can be turned in to the local Trappers and Fences--those shady, black market dealers offering up some of the rarest goods. But rest assured, any materials that can't fit in your bags will be sent straight to the respective merchants. In this feature, we're giving you all the details you need in order to track and hunt each of the game's Legendary Animals. If you want some extra tips for general survival and even fishing--which has its own set of Legendary Fish--be sure to check out our guides and features relating to each of Red Dead 2's most involved gameplay systems. Furthermore, be sure to check out our new weekly series QuickDraw, which focuses on the game's numerous gameplay features and along with a broader look on the impact of the Red Dead series.Table of Contents [hide]Legendary Bharati Grizzly BearLegendary BeaverLegendary Bighorn RamLegendary BoarLegendary BuckLegendary BullgatorLegendary CougarLegendary CoyoteLegendary ElkLegendary FoxLegendary Giaguaro PantherLegendary MooseLegendary Tatanka BisonLegendary White BisonLegendary WolfLegendary Bharati Grizzly BearLocation: During the Chapter 2 story mission Exit Pursued By A Bruised Ego, you'll encounter your first Legendary Animal. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee are gorgeous--albeit lean--reimaginings of one of the series' most beloved adventures. While some features fans have come to expect are missing--like abilities, breeding, and held items--Let's Go has an admirable amount of depth for a game aimed at a younger audience that has never played a Pokemon RPG. Both games may not have the same lasting appeal as previous entries, but revisiting Kanto and catching some of the series' most iconic creatures makes the journey worthwhile.Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee take you back to Kanto, the home of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Not much has changed structurally, but the previously 8-bit region has been realized in vibrant detail. Revisiting some of the series' most memorable locations like Viridian Forest and Saffron City on a big screen is an absolute joy. Areas that were once composed of lines and simple shapes are now colorful forests and detailed cities. Pokemon both big and small roam the wilds, giving personality to the region--you can watch a tiny Horsea speed through the waves or a massive Onix slink through a dark cave. The catchy original soundtrack has also been remastered, and it sounds better than ever. Those familiar with the originals or their remakes, FireRed and LeafGreen, should have no trouble navigating the world. After you're introduced to your partner Pokemon (Pikachu or Eevee depending on the version you choose) you set out on an adventure to collect Gym badges, defeat the Elite Four, and put an end to Team Rocket. While there are a few surprises, the layout of the region and your progression through it is nearly identical to the originals. Fortunately, Let’s Go sheds some of Red, Blue, and Yellow's more archaic designs. For example, HMs--"hidden moves" that allowed you to get past certain obstacles--are replaced with "Secret Techniques" that fulfill the same purpose without taking up one of a Pokemon's move slots. As a result, you can focus on team composition and complementary move sets instead of figuring out how to divvy up HMs between your party Pokemon.Let's Go also does a much better job at guiding you through the world and story. After you made your way through Rock Tunnel in the originals, you had little direction through Lavender, Celadon, Fuschia, and Saffron and could do certain Gym battles and events out of order. It was easy to miss key items and wind up fighting Pokemon much stronger than your own, which led to frustrating backtracking with little idea of what to do next. While you still can complete certain beats out of order, Let's Go ensures you don't miss anything crucial. For example, after you beat Erika in Celadon City, a character gives you a key item that will let you enter Saffron City. Previously, you had to buy a drink from an inconspicuous vending machine on the roof of the department store and give it to a city guard, and if you failed to do so, you wouldn't be able to fight the sixth Gym Leader. One of Let's Go's most fundamental changes is how you catch Pokemon. Instead of the random encounters and wild Pokemon battles of previous mainline games, Let's Go adopts Pokemon Go's catching mechanics. Pokemon roam the wilds in real time, and you have to walk into one to initiate catching it. Then, rather than battling it to whittle down its health, you just have to throw a Poke Ball at it, and the timing and accuracy of your throw increases your chances of a successful catch. The new catching mechanics are a welcome change to the formula that breaks up the pace of traditional trainer and Gym battles. Although catching wild Pokemon doesn’t require as much strategy as it did before, the act of catching is far more engaging. You don't need to worry about accidentally defeating and therefore failing to catch a rare or one-time Pokemon, and if there's a Pokemon you don't want to catch, you simply avoid it. The absence of random encounters also makes traversing caves a lot less tedious. Yes, that means you can even avoid Zubats.Let's Go encourages you to catch Pokemon more so than any other mainline Pokemon game, and it's better for it. Sure, catching every single species has always been the overarching goal, but I've never felt more inclined to complete my Pokedex. Catching Pokemon is the most efficient way to level up; with each successful catch your entire team is awarded a generous dose of experience. This alleviates the need to spend significant amounts of time grinding and makes it easier to experiment with different party compositions.Let's Go also introduces Catch Combos, which occur when you catch the same species of Pokemon multiple times in a row. As you build your combo, your chances of running into rare and powerful Pokemon increase. You can even find Pokemon you typically wouldn't find in the wild. Catching repeat Pokemon is both useful and satisfying--it's great knowing that luck is not the only factor involved when trying to catch a rare Pokemon, and it's very hard to stop when you're deep into a combo, knowing something good could spawn. However, the new catching mechanics don't come without issues. The Joy-Con motion controls are inaccurate at best and unpredictable at worst. Over the course of my journey, I never found a reliable way to throw a Poke Ball to the right or left. In most cases, I would just wait for the wild Pokemon to return to the center of the screen before throwing a Poke Ball, and even then, the ball wouldn't always go where I wanted it to.The Poke Ball Plus controller, an optional Poke Ball-shaped accessory, is a bit more precise, but because there are only two physical buttons on the controller, navigating menus and interacting with the world can be a pain. As novel as it is to see Kanto on a big screen, handheld mode is the best way to catch wild Pokemon. You can either use the Switch's gyroscope sensor or the left control stick to line up a throw. It's far more precise than the other methods, but you do have to consider the Pokemon's size and distance.Despite changes that make the Pokemon experience more accessible than ever, Let's Go is surprisingly deep. It does an excellent job at easing new players into some of the more complex mechanics without being bogged down by tutorials. Each Pokemon still has six base stats and one of 25 natures, and the game seamlessly presents all that information to you. For example, whenever you switch Pokemon during a battle, you are shown its stats. You can get through the entire game without paying attention to a Pokemon's stats, but it's helpful to see that information presented clearly and often. Early on, you even get the ability to "judge" a Pokemon, which lets you see its base stats (also called IVs). While this may not be super useful for beginners, it's presented in a way that's easy to understand and it gives veterans the opportunity to check for Pokemon with good stats early on.Unfortunately, those invested in the competitive side won't have as much to sink their teeth into. The absence of abilities, held items, and breeding limits the potential for highly competitive play. You can farm for Pokemon with higher stats through the aforementioned catch combos, but even if you do manage to catch a Pokemon with the stats you want, you won't have much to do with it. The online features are limited, and there's no matchmaking or ranked battles where you can test your skill. The trading features are also limited. The Global Trade System is nonexistent, and there is no Wonder Trading; you can trade and battle online and locally with friends, and that's about it. The barebones trading features may be disappointing at first, but given the smaller roster of Pokemon, I never felt that I needed the GTS or Wonder Trade to complete the Pokedex. This is also true for the Pokemon Go-compatible Go Park, which allows you to transfer any first-generation Pokemon you have in Go to Let's Go.It's a useful feature--especially if you are having trouble getting version-exclusive Pokemon--but you can easily complete the Pokedex without it.Without the competitive mechanics fans are accustomed to and the limited Pokedex, it can be difficult to come back to Let's Go after the credits roll. While there certainly are reasons to revisit Kanto once you have finished the game, like completing the Pokedex and grinding for Pokemon with perfect stats, the pull isn't quite as strong. There aren't many surprises and what's there isn't all that enticing. The last thing I need to try is the Pokemon Go connectivity, which isn't available as of this writing.Despite changes that make the Pokemon experience more accessible than ever, Let's Go is surprisingly deep.Despite these concessions, Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee are delightful reimaginings of the series' origins and a deep RPG in their own right. It makes a lot of smart improvements on the original Red, Blue and Yellow while holding on to what made them so special in the first place. Fans of the series might be let down by the lack of features they've come to expect, but Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee take the Pokemon formula in some exciting new directions.Info from Gamespot.com

The Spider has painted a new target on an escapee of the Prison of Elders with the latest Destiny 2 weekly reset. With the new round of bounties comes Wanted: Eye In The Dark, a wanted target players haven't hunted before. It's a powerful Hive Shrieker hiding in one of the deep places of the Hellas Basin on Mars. You'll need some strong weapons to bring it down, as well as the resiliency to fight off a whole horde of Hive minions. Here's where to find it, and how to take it down to earn a piece of Powerful gear.Like all of the Wanted Spider bounties, this one will run you five Ghost Fragments, which you can earn from completing public events, bounties, and patrols on the Tangled Shore. Purchase it, and you'll unlock a new Adventure on Mars. Load into the Glacial Drift area, then head up north along the eastern edge of the map to reach the Ma'adim Subterrane Lost Sector to start the Adventure.Delve into the cave and you'll find Cabal fighting Hive throughout the area. Clear the path until you get to the back of the Lost Sector, where you'll find the Eye In The Dark hovering over you, closed up. You'll soon find that the Shrieker is invulnerable to your attacks--the only way to hurt it when it is opened is to have the "Wormcursed" buff active, which lets you dish out the damage for 15 seconds. To get the buff, look for special Wormcursed Thralls, which are glowing Cursed Thralls, hanging around the battlefield. These guys carry orange life bars and are therefore a bit tough to kill, so watch out they don't explode and take you down. Once they pop, they'll spray green goo all over the area. You can catch some from the explosion or walk through it to get it on you, which will give you the buff. As soon as you've got it, turn your attention to blasting away at the Eye.Doing a certain amount of damage will cause the Eye In The Dark to clam up again, forcing you to fight a whole bunch of Hive enemies that stream into the area. Try to keep moving so you don't get overwhelmed, and watch your six, as enemies will enter behind you along the path you took to reach the Eye. Clearing out all the enemies will cause the Eye to open again, and you'll need to repeat the process of killing a Womrcursed Thrall to get the buff.If you're at a high level and have strong weapons like Sleeper Simulant, you should be able to take down the Eye on that second buff. Crowd control supers are really helpful here, since the Hive can be overwhelming, as is anything that does powerful direct damage to the Eye, like sniper rifles or linear fusion rifles. Heavy weapons are good for the Eye, while assault rifles and other fast-firing weapons will be good for fighting the Hive that protect it.Killing the Eye will complete the bounty and net you your Powerful gear drop, which is the gear in Destiny 2 that will push you toward the Power level cap of 600. To continue the climb, focus on Daily and Weekly challenges, as well as the Ascendant Challenge in the Dreaming City. You might also want to check out the Iron Banner Crucible event, which is back with this week's reset. Battling in the Crucible will earn you increased Valor and Glory ranks, plus the opportunity to complete Iron Banner bounties, all of which are good for Powerful gear drops. And don't forget that this week marks the final step in the Murder Mystery quest to unlock a new Exotic weapon, the heavy machine gun Thunderlord from the original Destiny.Info from Gamespot.com

Blizzard has rolled out a new update for its popular shooter, Overwatch. Patch 1.30 is now available on all platforms--PS4, Xbox One, and PC--and makes a handful of changes to several of the game's maps and characters, along with introducing its newest hero, Ashe.Unveiled during BlizzCon 2018 earlier this month, Ashe is the the leader of the Deadlock gang and the 29th character to join the Overwatch roster. She arrived on the Public Test Region shortly after her reveal at BlizzCon, but this marks the first time she's available on all platforms. However, at the moment you'll only be able to use her in unranked play; she won't be available in Competitive Play until two weeks after her release.Ashe is an offensive hero and one of Overwatch's more versatile characters. Her main weapon, The Viper, is a lever-action rifle capable of firing in semi-automatic bursts with a high spread. She can also aim down its sights for precision shots. On top of that, Ashe comes equipped with a Coach Gun, which allows her to deal a lot of damage at a close range and can even send Ashe flying backward if fired at the ground.Another unique ability at Ashe's disposal is Dynamite. She can throw the explosive onto the battlefield; it will then explode after a short amount of time or immediately if shot. Finally, her Ultimate is BOB, her robotic butler/bodyguard introduced alongside her in the Reunion animated short. When summoned, BOB will charge forward and fire at foes with his arm cannons. In addition to Ashe, Patch 1.30 makes some general changes to all heroes, as well as a few specific to Mercy, Reaper, Symmetra, and Roadhog. The power of Mercy's ultimate has been increased, while Reaper has been tweaked to make him a more suitable for close-range combat. Roadhog received the biggest set of changes; you can see them all in the patch notes below.Overwatch November 13 Update Patch NotesHero UpdatesMercyDeveloper Comments: Mercy's ultimate was charging a bit too slowly after her base healing was reduced in a previous update. These changes should restore some of her ultimate's strength and let it build up more quickly.ReaperDeveloper Comments: Reaper's specialty is fighting at a very close range. The more consistent spread pattern and increase in healing from his passive ability will make him more capable of standing toe-to-toe with his enemies.SymmetraDeveloper Comments: It's still difficult to use Symmetra's Photon Projector beam effectively, even after its range was increased. By speeding up the primary fire charge rate, it takes less time to ramp up to its full damage potential and will be a stronger option when she's presented with targets to charge up on.RoadhogDeveloper Comments: Roadhog is receiving several large changes to make his abilities more consistent. His Chain Hook had issues with breaking when enemy targets jumped or fell behind environment collision. It will now slow them down in the air more when the hook lands, and wait less time before it starts reeling them in. Since Chain Hook's cooldown now begins immediately upon use, so it no longer varies based on Roadhog’s distance to the hook target. We've also moved some of the projectiles closer to the center of the spread pattern on his Scrap Gun, which gives him a more consistent damage output for its primary and alternate fire. Previously, there was a long-standing bug that caused close-range targets to fly much further than expected. After this bug was fixed, we still wanted to keep some of the knockback burst it provided, so we've increased the overall velocity cap to maintain some of that functionality.Map UpdatesReduced the setup timer for Assault, Escort, and Assault/Escort maps from 1 minute to 45 secondsAssemble Your Team timer increased from 10 to 25 seconds in the second round on Assault, Assault/Escort, and Escort mapsBug FixesA.I.Fixed a bug that caused Mei bots to attempt landing headshots on Wrecking Ball while he was immune to them in Roll modeFixed a bug that caused bots to get stuck near Point A on EichenwaldeHeroesBrigitte Fixed a bug that prevented Brigitte’s Whip Shot from going on cooldown if it was interrupted before the chain retractedDoomfist Fixed a bug that prevented victims of Doomfist’s Rocket Punch from ragdolling if they were eliminated by itFixed a bug that prevented Doomfist’s Rising Uppercut from damaging enemiesFixed a bug that prevented Doomist’s Seismic Slam from dealing damage if he hit by a knockback ability the moment he landedJunkrat Fixed a bug that caused Junkrat to return to his idle animation if he was stunned while using RIP-TireLúcio Fixed a bug that caused some allied heroes to say their “under attack†voice lines when receiving a friendly Sound BarrierOrisa Fixed bug that prevented Orisa’s Fortify from canceling Doomfist’s Rising Uppercut air control effectsReinhardt Fixed a bug that allowed Reinhardt’s Earthshatter to hit Brigitte when she blocked it with her Barrier Shield if she was strafing during high latency periodsRoadhog Fixed a bug that prevented Chain Hook from going on cooldown if it was interrupted before the chain retractedFixed a bug that prevented Chain Hook from destroying breakable objects when pulling the target backwardFixed a bug that caused Roadhog’s Whole Hog visual effects to cover a wider area than the spread of projectilesSymmetra Fixed a bug that prevented Symmetra to charge up her primary weapon on enemy ice wallsTorbjörn Fixed a bug that prevented Santaclad Torbjörn’s ultimate voice lines from playing when activating Molten CoreFixed a visual issue that prevented Molten Core’s magma globules from appearing in the correct place with his Barbarossa or Blackbeard skins equippedFixed an animation issue that caused Torbjörn’s claw arm to suddenly appear when Overload and Molten Core were used in quick successionTracer Fixed an issue that caused Tracer to accelerate slightly slower and decelerate slightly faster than other heroesWrecking Ball Fixed a bug that prevented Wrecking Ball voice lines from playing when previewed after opening a Loot BoxZarya Fixed a bug that allowed heroes to charge through a Graviton Surge without getting trappedHero GalleryFixed an issue that caused some heroes legs to twitch when viewed in the Hero GalleryFixed a bug that prevented players from rotating heroes in the Hero Gallery while the UI was hiddenSocialFixed a bug that allowed players to hear the voice lines of heroes controlled by players they mutedMapsFixed a bug that prevented the payload from healing attackers if they were damaged while pushing it on Assault/Escort and Escort mapsFixed a lighting issue that caused a skyscraper in Hollywood’s skyline to appear pitch blackInfo from Gamespot.com

Black Friday 2018 is almost here, and we're now seeing more games that will eventually be on sale during the big retail rush. With the release of Fallout 76, the series' first attempt as an online multiplayer action-RPG, it should come as no surprise that its predecessor will see some action during the upcoming Black Friday sale. On November 23, you can expect to see Fallout 4: Game Of The Year Edition on PC, PS4, and Xbox One go on sale.In addition to sales for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, SoulCalibur VI, and God of War, Fallout 4 is one of many games that you can find during the Black Friday 2018 sale. As of this time, these discounts aren't active yet, but this will give you plenty of time to plan ahead of the big November 23 retail event. For now, we've spotted discounts for Fallout 4: Game Of The Year Edition on Best Buy, Target, and Walmart--ranging from $25 to $30 for the Black Friday sale. In addition to the GOTY release, the base version of Fallout 4 is also on sale at Target for the low price of $12, making it a solid deal for anyone looking to get into the game for cheap.Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition is a collection of all the released content from the game, which includes major expansions Far Harbor and Nuka World. Much other Bethesda titles, Fallout 4 focused on allowing players to create their own story within an open world. Set in post-apocalyptic Boston, you play as the Lone Survivor of Vault 111, who must find his son after being in suspended animation for more than 200 years. In typical Fallout fashion, you'll explore a setting that shows off shades of 1950's sci-fi--post nuclear--and acquire a set of weapons that can vaporize or blow your enemies to pieces. Over the course of your adventure, you'll level up and make important decisions about which characters you should align with or go against. In our review of Fallout 4 back in 2015, managing editor Peter Brown stated: "In the grand scheme of things, Fallout 4's minor issues pale in comparison to its successes. When you put the controller down, you think about the friend you betrayed to benefit another, the shifting tide of an incredible battle, or the moment you opened a drawer and found someone's discarded effects, making you wonder how they felt before the bombs fell. In moments like these, Fallout 4 can be an intoxicating experience. You're often forced to sacrifice something--a relationship, a lucrative opportunity, or your health--to make gains elsewhere. And the deeper down the rabbit hole you go, the more you wonder: what if I chose a different path? You second guess yourself, not just because you had other options, but because you aren't sure if you did the right thing. The fact that your decisions stick with you after walking away from the game is a testament to the great storytelling on hand. Fallout 4 is an argument for substance over style, and an excellent addition to the revered open-world series."This deal is just one of many happening on Black Friday 2018. For now, be sure to keep track of the our round up for upcoming sales on our unique posts for each major retailer. And remember, these deals aren't active just yet, so keep track of the deals that stick out most to you. Be sure to to keep up with all of our Black Friday 2018 coverage on GameSpot.Fallout 4: Game of the Year EditionPC$25 -- Best BuyPS4$25 -- Best Buy$25 -- Target$25 -- WalmartXbox One$25 -- Best Buy$25 -- Target$25 -- Walmart Info from Gamespot.com

Update: Treyarch has rolled out the latest patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. As advertised, this update brings the classic Nuketown map to multiplayer on PS4, along with a huge list of fixes and balance changes across all modes on each platform, plus more stability improvements in Zombies. You can find the full patch notes on Reddit. The original story follows. Some new content is on the way to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 very soon. As Treyarch teased in the patch notes for the game's latest update, the developer is bringing back the fan-favorite Nuketown map, and it's arriving for free this week for some players.First introduced in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, Nuketown has gone on to become one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in the series. It has been remade in every subsequent Black Ops game, each time sporting a different look while retaining the same general layout. In Black Ops 4, Nuketown takes the form of a small Russian city in the dead of winter. You can take your first look at it in the trailer above. Thanks to Activision's timed exclusivity agreement with Sony, Nuketown will arrive first on PS4 beginning today, November 13, with an Xbox One and PC release set to follow later. Treyarch hasn't announced exactly when the map will come to those two platforms, but this time, its PS4 exclusivity period is only seven days (rather than 30 as it was for previous Call of Duty games), so Xbox One and PC players will presumably get their chance to revisit Nuketown sometime next week.Treyarch has a lot more free content planned for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Next month, the developer will introduce the first of several new Specialist characters to the game. Treyarch also plans to hold more seasonal, weekly, and other limited-time events in the game, and the battle royale-inspired Blackout mode is also slated to receive its own set of regular map updates, expansions, and new modes.Treyarch continues to tweak and improve Black Ops 4 with a regular stream of updates and patches. The latest focused on resolving some lingering stability issues in Zombies mode and made a few tweaks to Blackout and multiplayer. We also have our own ideas on how Blackout mode can improve in the future.Info from Gamespot.com

The weekly reset in Destiny 2 has taken place. For this week, we aren't seeing the introduction of a bunch of new content, but the missions offered by Petra in the Dreaming City have restarted once again. We're back to the start of a three-week cycle as the Awoken continue to battle the curse--something Petra acknowledges in her dialogue when you first speak with her. She also has the typical bounty for the Ascendant Challenge, which is a return to the challenge first seen in Week 5 of this season. Here's what you need to do and where to go to find the portal that can net you some Powerful gear.Like in past weeks, the Ascendant Challenge involves using a specific item (a Tincture of Queensfoil) to receive the Ascendance buff. This allows you to see a Taken portal that sends you to the Ascendant Plane to do a mission of sorts. But the portal's location and your objective has been different each week, and that's true for Week 5. Before starting, though, be sure to grab the corresponding bounty from Petra, as that's the key to earning a piece of Powerful gear. This week's portal is found inside a Lost Sector (Bay of Drowned Wishes) located right near Dreaming City's landing zone in Divalian Mists. You'll move to the midway point of the Lost Sector, killing things until a little before you reach a door that's locked. (You can skip the enemies, but killing them will likely be easier.) If you've used your Tincture of Queensfoil, you'll see the portal and can jump through to reach the Ascendant Plane location, Agonarch Abyss.Unfortunately, there's a good deal of platforming involved here. You'll make your way down to a temple where a large tree is. Blight balls spawn in that slow your movement, and you'll have to deal with a pair of wizards who spawn in additional Thrall enemies. Take out the wizards and you're all done. You can see this all in our video guide. The chest that you can then open is, as always, nothing special. But finishing the Ascendant Challenge completes the bounty from Petra, which nets you a piece of Powerful gear. When you speak to Petra, you'll notice she acknowledges that things have returned to the way they were three weeks ago. She's again offering the first of the three story missions where you rescue her associates. Meanwhile, Bungie has announced there are changes coming for Exotics, Masterwork Cores, and Iron Banner. [UPDATE] The NFL jersey skins in Fortnite have been removed from the in-game store. If you bought one, you can keep using it, but Epic is no longer selling them. Whether or not they ever return remains to be seen. Keep checking back with GameSpot for the latest. [UPDATE END]Fortnite only just introduced officially licensed NFL jersey skins last week, but they are leaving the in-game store very soon, developer Epic Games has announced. You have just about an hour left to grab the jerseys, as they leave the store tonight (November 13). They leave the store at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST.You can buy jerseys for all 32 NFL teams, and then customise it with any number from 0-99. The jerseys costs 1,500 V-Bucks, which works out to around $15. Within the jerseys category, you can select variants including Strong Guard, End Zone, Gridiron, and Spike as a unique style.Have you scored the new NFL Outfits? Now is your opportunity before they rotate out of the store tonight! 🈠pic.twitter.com/SJe6eq8FZv — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) November 13, 2018In addition to the jerseys, you can buy various football-related extras such as the Whistle Warrior outfit (800 V-Bucks), the Striped Soldier outfit (800 V-Bucks), the Upright axe (800 V-Bucks), the Golden Pigskin axe (500 V-Bucks) the First Downer axe (500 V-Bucks), the Touchdown glider (500 V-Bucks)The deal between the NFL and Epic was probably a lucrative one, but it's not exactly the best look. You can find numerous examples on social media of people creating representations of controversial NFL figures like Michael Vick with a dog on his back and Aaron Hernandez pointing a gun. It's not clear if Epic is removing the NFL jersey skins because of this; it's possible Epic and the NFL had a one-week deal. We also don't know if the jerseys will ever return. Whatever the case, now is your last chance--for now at least--to run around Fortnite in an NFL jersey. Info from Gamespot.com

Ralph Bakshi's animated Lord of the Rings film hit theaters 40 years ago this month in 1978, and now the director has shared some secrets about its production. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Bakshi talked about how The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger personally called Bakshi to ask if he could voice Frodo.Jagger came to the studio to catch up with Bakshi about The Lord of the Rings, and people working on the project apparently completely lost it when Jagger walked by."[My studio on Hollywood and Vine] is full of college kids all graduated from art school, a very young group. So I'm walking through the studio with Mick Jagger and the girls start to scream and faint," Bakshi recalls. "I had 2,200-3,000 people working on four floors, and the word spread to each floor that Jagger is walking around, and people got from one floor to the other through the staircase, and there was thunder like horsemen coming down, shaking the staircase. My son was there for the summer and he was terrified--he hid in the bathroom."Bakshi said he thought Jagger would be a "pretty good Frodo, I guess," but had to tell the rockstar that the part was already filled, voiced, and completed. Actor Christopher Guard ended up voicing the Ring-bearer in the movie. Also in the story, Bakshi talks about how the world-famous English rock band Led Zeppelin wanted to be involved in his Lord of the Rings film. Presumably having heard Zeppelin songs like "Ramble On" and "The Battle of Evermore" which reference J.R.R. Tolkien and Lord of the Rings in general, Bakshi approached the band to see if they'd lend their music to the movie's soundtrack.Unfortunately, the band's contract apparently prohibited the group from lending its music to a project in this capacity. Instead, Bakshi went with composer Leonard Rosenman. "I didn't mind him. He had a good reputation. But Led Zeppelin would have blown off the roof of the picture. So I lost that one," Bakshi said. The entire THR piece is an in-depth and fascinating read for any Lord of the Rings fan, or anyone who likes to get a peek behind the scenes about how movies are made. Bakshi speaks frankly about the challenges of getting the movie made, remarking that he "nearly died" due to the intense production. You may recall that the film ends with the Battle of Helm's Deep, and that's because Bakshi had planned to make a trilogy but it never worked out.Peter Jackson went on to make his own Lord of the Rings trilogy of films, and they were critical and commercial successes. Jackson followed them up with another trilogy of Hobbit films. One year ago this week, Amazon announced it had started making a new Lord of the Rings TV show, while a new film starring Nicholas Hoult as J.R.R. Tolkien and Lilly Collins as his wife Edith Bratt has reportedly finished filming. As for video games, a new Lord of the Rings title is in the works at Athlon Games, and it might have an online focus. Athon's parent company, Leyou, owns Digital Extremes (Warframe) and Splash Damage (Gears of War 4 multiplayer), while it previously invested millions of dollars into Halo and Call of Duty co-developer Certain Affinity. Video games are just one part of Leyou's business. The company also operates a slaughtering and processing facility in China that is capable of processing 18 million chickens every year.Info from Gamespot.com
