We now have our first taste of what songs will be included on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. As with the previous remake Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, it features a mix of some of the most notable songs from the two games featured on it, as well as some new additions. As you can see for yourself on the official Spotify playlist, the soundtrack has a number of songs you might remember from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4, such as Ace of Spades by Motorhead, 96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY, Amoeba by Adolescents, and my personal favorite, Not the Same by Bodyjar. Publisher Activision has sprinkled in some new tracks as well, including Real Thing by Turnstile, End It by New Wage Slavery, and Collard Greens by Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar.Overall, it's a nice merging of genres and eras of music, which is typical for the soundtracks of the classic Tony Hawk games. This initial sprinkling of songs is just the opening salvo, as Activision says the playlist will be updated multiple times in the lead-up to the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, so keep an eye on it.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Attack on Titan LE Steelbooks - Seasons 1-3 $40 each at Walmart | Released in December with $70 MSRP See at Walmart See at Amazon Attack on Titan's recently released Limited Edition Steelbooks are on sale for a great price at Walmart. Fans can get Seasons 1-3 for $40 each at Walmart. Amazon has the same deal on Season 2, but the other two are currently $54 at Amazon. That said, Amazon typically matches Walmart's Blu-ray deals, so we wouldn't be surprised if Season 1 and Season 3 drop to $40 at Amazon, too.The anime's first three seasons were reissued on Blu-ray with matching steelbook cases in December. Unfortunately, each season carries a $70 list price, which is quite high for a single season of anime, even when you factor in the steelbook cases. Needless to say, the new $40 prices make these releases far more appealing. It's unclear when these deals end, so Attack on Titan fans should snag them while they can.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

mClassic Graphics Upscaler for Switch and Retro Games $87.72 (was $100) See at Amazon Nintendo Switch owners and retro gamers can save on the mClassic Graphics Upscaler at Amazon for a limited time. This handy accessory is on sale for $87.72, down from $100, which is within a couple bucks of its $85 deal during Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024. mClassic Graphics Upscaler for Switch and Retro Games $87.72 (was $100) For many, the mClassic's main draw is its Nintendo Switch features. It offers noticeable visual upgrades--though the degree to which you notice the differences depends on how discerning you are when it comes to graphics. Switch games can be upscaled up to 1440p at 60fps or 4K at 30fps. It has built-in anti-aliasing tech that smooths jagged edges and sharpens the picture. The exact boost in visual fidelity varies based on the game, in our experience--and you aren't getting true 4K like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.On consoles with HDMI such as Switch, PS3, and Xbox 360 (besides first-gen 360 consoles), all you need to do is plug it into your console, connect the included power cable, and then reconnect your HDMI cable from your TV into the mClassic dongle. The mClassic substantially improves the overall picture quality and playability of game consoles from the pre-HD era--Super Nintendo, N64, GameCube, etc.--on modern flat-screen 4K and HD TVs. We tested the mClassic a couple years back and were extremely impressed by its performance with retro consoles. A CRT TV is still clearly the best option for retro gaming, but the mClassic is a great option for those who don't want to deal with the bulk of a box TV or the hassle of finding one in general.Note: Game consoles without an HDMI port--like the aforementioned retro Nintendo consoles--require the mClassic to be connected to an adapter, such as this $30 model or this one for $20. See at Amazon On the side of the dongle, you'll find a switch that lets you toggle the enhancements on and off. There's also a mode designed for retro consoles built to display in a 4:3 aspect ratio (like "square" CRT TVs). Depending on the retro game you're playing, you'll probably want to turn this mode on instead of using the default widescreen setting that stretches the image. The mClassic still upscales the picture, even when using the retro mode's 4:3 aspect ratio. The mClassic's manufacturer Marseille recommends locking your Nintendo Switch to 720p while docked--the resolution for handheld mode--for the best results. Based on our testing, we agree with that recommendation, but don't forget to turn 1080p back on before you play without the mClassic.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Chrono Trigger celebrated its 30-year anniversary this week, on March 11, 2025. Below, we look back at how it continues to endure and what continues to make it a powerful, relevant classic. After 30 years, I still often find myself thinking about Fiona's Forest in Chrono Trigger, and one of the scenes that captures what makes the game so enduring for me.It's a late-game moment after you complete one of Chrono Trigger's few but meaningful side quests. In it, you meet a woman named Fiona, who has dedicated herself to planting a forest around her small cottage. Her husband has gone away to war as the local kingdom, Guardia, takes on a powerful magician known as the Fiendlord and his army of demi-human creatures. When you find her, Fiona worries over his safety and laments that while the couple had hoped to grow the grove together, she can't tend it on her own.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Players will have to rely on their own flashlights, proximity chat, or the flash of gunfire to come out on top. That leads to a very lethal game of hide-and-seek.Velan Studios recently unveiled Midnight Murder Club's Wildcards mode, which gives players the ability to rewrite reality thanks to some special cards. When players pick cards from their collection, they can be given special abilities like super speed or the power to self-detonate upon death. As I take the field in Vanderbilt's iconic gold, I know the pressure is on. Scouts are watching, and this is my shot to fly up their draft boards. I take my place at third base, locked in and ready. There’s a runner on first, one away, as the pitcher deals from the mound. The batter jumps on the first-pitch fastball; the loud ping of his metal bat pierces the air. The ball rockets up the third-base line, far too fast for me to get a glove on. As the left-fielder chases the ball in the corner, the runner from first is passing second. I take my position, lined up between the left-fielder and catcher. The runner rounds third as the outfielder launches the ball. I cut it off, turn, and take aim at the catcher's glove just past the runner and fire...It’s these high drama moments that stood out when GameSpot was invited to visit Sony’s San Diego studio to meet with the team behind MLB The Show 25. While there, we were treated to a deep dive and hands-on time with all the new additions coming to the latest iteration of the long-running baseball sim. With fresh gameplay wrinkles, new single- and multiplayer options for Diamond Dynasty, revamped free agency, and more, there’s a lot happening on and off the field. Let’s play ball.Gallery On the diamondThis year’s updates begin on the field. Ambush hitting brings yet another real-world strategic element to batting. As Chris Gill--Gameplay Director at Sony Diego and a former pro ball player in the Cincinnati Reds' system--describes, good hitters take advantage of scouting and observing tendencies, adjusting to sit on certain pitches. In game, that translates to optionally focusing on pitches inside or outside of the center of the plate. The side you focus on gets a bump to the size of both your good contact area and timing window, while the side you don’t choose is shrunk. That means a pitcher with a go-to finisher (like my favorite, a fastball up and in) may want to try another strategy against a hitter who has experienced their MO. Conversely, if a pitcher has been pounding the inside of the plate, they might be able to surprise the batter with an unexpected pitch away. It’s the sort of cat-and-mouse game that makes an at-bat feel like a contest of strategy as much as stick skill.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Diablo Immortal will receive another new class and crossover event this year according to Blizzard's newly revealed 2025 content plans for the free-to-play mobile ARPG.The new class and event will all be part of a year-long series of updates and storyline Blizzard is calling the Epoch of Madness. There's an old myth in the theater world that Shakespeare's Macbeth is cursed, and any theatre company who tries to put it on will endure some sort of misfortune during the production. One area that hasn't been tested yet, though, is video games--until now, as upstart Specto Studio, led by a former theater director, has announced Hail Macbeth for consoles and PC.Hail Macbeth is a third-person narrative adventure and an adaptation of the classic Shakespearean play, where players will assume the role of an "unseen force" guiding Macbeth through the story. They will work against what the official announcement calls "the witches," which are "embedded into the game’s UI, subtly revealing or obscuring information, shifting perspective, and distorting reality in ways that make players question the limits of their control."Hail MacBeth concept artGallery Unlike the original work, this version of Macbeth will be set in an alternate version of the 1990s, with castles, corporate high-rises, and “industrial ruins." The game's script, however, will retain the exact wording from Shakespeare's original work, and the studio has scanned real-world costumes and props into the game in order to "achieve a sense of lived-in reality."Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com

Fresh off of his hosting stint at this year's Oscars, Conan O'Brien came to South by Southwest this week to co-host a panel with Blizzard Entertainment president Johanna Faries. O'Brien--whose previous gaming experience includes co-hosting the Clueless Gamer segments on his TBS talk show Conan and a cameo appearance in Death Stranding--jokingly suggested that he agreed to the SXSW panel for one reason only: to be in a Diablo game."The reason I flew from Los Angeles to be here was I want to be in the next Diablo," said O'Brien. "I would like to be a demon. Or maybe a necromancer... My wife, when she met me, thought I was a necromancer."O'Brien went on to talk about recording his appearance for Death Stranding in Tokyo, which gave him a greater appreciation for how games are made. He also credited his son for showing him that there was more to gaming than he originally realized.Continue Reading at GameSpotInfo from Gamespot.com
