It seems that making a game is actually somewhat harder than rocket science. Amazon, which recently had its founder Jeff Bezos blasted into space by Blue Origin, is now bricking high-end graphics cards with a beta for its MMO, New World, according to players.According to users on Twitter and Reddit, New World has been frying extremely high-end graphics cards, namely Nvidia's RTX 3090. It's worth noting that while the RTX 3090 has an MSRP of $1,500, it's often selling for much more due to scarcity and scalpers, so players could easily be losing upwards of $2,000 if their card stops working.Specifically, it seems that one model of the RTX 3090 is being consistently fried by New World. A new patch is now available for Call of Duty: Warzone, but don't expect very much in the way of changes or significant improvements. This newest patch, released on July 21, is mainly focused on squashing bugs.The July 21 update removes the "Report Offensive Chat" button temporarily. It was causing a crash in some scenarios and Raven Software is removing it for the time being.The update also fixes an issue with the C58 Royal and Kross 4X Optic weapons that could impact recoil in a way it shouldn't have. The Nintendo "gigaleak" from 2020 is apparently the gift that keeps on giving, and now early prototypes and renders for the Wii Remote have emerged online. The designs were tweeted by game developer and preservationist lombTV, who has posted other information they've managed to pull out from the leaked data as well.These mock-ups aren't that far off from the final Wiimote design, though the lime green color is definitely different from the clean white shade that defined the console. In the below tweet, you can see how Nintendo staff debated on whether to include X and Y buttons for increased functionality. Variety is reporting that AHS: Double Feature has halted all production because an actor had tested positive for COVID-19 and will be shut down until the end of the week.The pandemic had already delayed production on the new AHS season which was originally planned for a 2020 premiere.
