Psyonix has announced that the rewards for Season 3 of Rocket League will be universal animated decals. In a blog post, the developer revealed all of the rewards to be given to ranked players when Season 3 ends on August 11.The rewards are given to players who win 10 ranked matches after reaching that tier--so a player would need to win 10 ranked matches once they are ranked bronze to qualify for bronze rewards, as an example. Players will receive the animated decal for their max competitive rank as well as the decals for all ranks below that.Players who reach either Grand Champion or Supersonic Legend will receive a special title depending on which game mode they achieved that rank in. Tournament credits will be reset once Season 3 ends as well, with all tournament credits converted into All-Star Cup rewards. A 2010 clip of a fan asking a panel of Activision Blizzard employees at BlizzCon for better representation of body shapes in World of Warcraft has gone viral over the past few days. Now, one of the panelists in the video has apologized for the comments, stating that the panel did not take her question seriously and that the clip itself "hasn't aged well."In the clip, a woman notes the "very strong female characters" in World of Warcraft before asking when the developers plan on introducing some women that don't look like they've "stepped out of a Victoria's Secret catalog." The woman's comments immediately receive applause from fans in attendance, followed by an overwhelming wave of boos and jeers. Joe Pytka, the director the original 1996 Space Jam, has seen the brand new sequel, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and he has a lot to say about the film in an interview with TMZ. Very little of it is nice.According to the interview, the director required five separate sessions to complete the two-hour runtime of Space Jam: A New Legacy. The director cited a number of issues with the film, starting with LeBron James' celebrity. When Space Jam his theaters, Michael Jordan was the biggest celebrity in the world, Pytka said. While LeBron is an accomplished athlete, "the truth is that LeBron ain't Michael," Pytka said. The Green Knight, like Black Widow and Fast and Furious 9 before it, is a film we've been waiting on for a long time thanks to multiple pandemic delays. Unlike those films, though, this independent film isn't showing on every single screen that lights up--you'll have to work a little harder to find a screen showing it, making it all the more important to know what we're going into when the film hits theaters this Friday, July 30.Over on Metacritic, the Green Knight is in the green with a score of 88. Rotten Tomatoes, meanwhile, has the Arthurian fantasy at 94% fresh with 15 reviews from its "top critics." Grid Legends will see the return of the Nemesis system, which was added to the series in 2019's Grid. According to developer Codemasters, it won't be exactly the same this time around, though."The Nemesis makes a return to Grid Legends and we have evolved the system to be more persistent on and offline," Grid Legends game director Chris Smith told GameSpot. Blade Runner is expanding later this year with the animated series Blade Runner: Black Lotus arriving to Adult Swim's Toonami this fall. During a Comic-Con 2021 panel, we got more insight into the upcoming anime, along with a brand-new trailer.The world of Blade Runner, based originally on the Phillip K. Dick novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, has remained relatively unexplored over the years despite being a seminal modern sci-fi series. However, Blade Runner: Black Lotus will expand on that world built by the original movie and its 2017 sequel. And the creators behind the series have finally revealed details about the show's characters and story. At the beginning of The Simpsons panel for Comic-Con 2021, there was a comedic opening hyping up a fake streaming service called Simpflix--which contains the Springfield Cinematic Universe. Billed as the latest entry into the streaming wars, Simpflix "bravely repurposes 32-year-old IP into a dazzling array of original programming."Of course, no such service is really forthcoming--a sarcastic voice over really goes hard in the paint to sell upcoming shows with punny titles including Len15, Molemen, and Moezark. Really the visuals on the posters for these parody shows are much more clever than the titles, so we'll spare any potential cringing or confusion and let these jokes land on their own. There are still Walking Dead movies coming out featuring the return of Rick Grimes; however, news about production of these movies has been pretty quiet. Are they even happening anymore? Luckily, at the Robert Kirkman panel at Comic-Con 2021, the creator of the comic book series gave us a little bit of an update about what's happening.Yes, the movies are still happening, but pre-production is moving slowly, and there's no release date yet. "I can't tell you," Kirkman said about the release date. "I could throw out a funny date. I don't know. It's definitely going to be before 2032. I wish there were more updates. There's a lot going on behind-the-scenes. Because we're pre-recording this, it's entirely possible that there are some details that are coming out around Comic-Con that I just don't know we're allowed to talk about yet. So I'm being a good boy, and I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say there's exciting stuff happening behind-the-scenes, and I am as frustrated as you guys are that we have not been able to reveal everything to you and talk about it non stop."Kirkman went on to reassure everyone that they want to make a quality film, while praising Rick Grimes himself, Andrew Lincoln. The latest season of Fear the Walking Dead may have wrapped up back in June, but Season 7 of the AMC show is getting ready to premiere on October 7, at at 9 PM/8 PM CT. Two clips from the upcoming season were shown and episodes for Season 7 will debut a early on the AMC+ streaming service.That's not all that was revealed during the panel, though. The first two clips from the new season were shown, introducing a very different zombie apocalypse. The first footage from Creepshow Season 3 has been revealed. Two clips from the next season of Shudder's anthology horror show were shown during Comic-Con@Home's Creepshow panel.The panel featured showrunner Greg Nicotero, writer Mattie Do, director Rusty Cundieff, and actors Michael Rooker and James Remar. The first clip is taken from Do's story, which is titled "Drug Traffic," and stars Rooker as a cop investigating a strange series of killings, and you can see that below at the 14-minute mark. The second clip is from the story titled "Queen Bee," which focuses on a pop star who is possessed by aliens--you can check that out at 31 minutes.Nicotero confirmed that Creepshow Season 3 will premiere on Shudder on September 23 and will consist of 12 stories across six episodes. Doctor Who is coming back later this year for Season 13, with Jodie Whittaker's Doctor at the helm once again and if the trailer for the upcoming episodes shown during Comic-Con 2021 is any indication, this season is going to be massive and action-packed. The cast and showrunner of Legends of Tomorrow came to Comic-Con to not only tease what will happen during the rest of Season 6 but share some very interesting information about Season 7.First up, a trailer for the remainder of Season 6 was shared. It includes quite a bit of action, be it at bowling alleys in space, murder mystery weekends, or even the wedding of Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz) and Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan). It was also confirmed that Season 6 will be the end of John Constantine's journey on Legends of Tomorrow, as that character will depart the Waverider for good. Now the big question is whether he'll do it alive or not, based on the dark magic overtaking him in the trailer below.Still, while Constantine may be leaving Legends, that's not the case for the actor who portrays him. Showrunner Phil Klemmer revealed that Ryan will still be a series regular in Season 7, taking on a new original role.
