According to a Collider interview with producer Hiram Garcia, some new technology is going to help Johnson look his best."There were a lot of aspects to this film that were important to us, from big dramatic storylines that we wanted to explore to make sure we were properly representing an antihero of Black Adam's caliber, to the visual effects and displaying Black Adam's powers in a way that we think the fans will love," Garcia said."This is a character with amazing abilities. Publisher Square Enix has revealed that Marvel's Avengers' upcoming expansion, Black Panther: War for Wakanda, launches for free on all platforms on August 17. The add-on content will not only introduce Black Panther as a playable hero but also add new enemies, missions, and villains.The War for Wakanda DLC includes a bevy of additional content, like a new environment to explore in Wakanda, another outpost known as The Golden City, and more solo and multiplayer Drop Zone and Threat Sector missions. Monster Hunter Rise's version 3.2.0 update is now live on Nintendo Switch. This patch introduces the second Capcom Collab Event Quest and makes numerous other bug fixes and adjustments to the online RPG.The aforementioned Event Quest will be available starting July 30 and is an Okami crossover. After completing the quest, you'll be able to use the materials you earned to forge a set of layered Palamute armor based on Okami's protagonist, Amaterasu. As Capcom detailed on the official Monster Hunter website, your Ammy Palamute will wield one of each type of the three Divine Instruments--a Reflector, a Rosary, and a Glaive--and the effects that trail will change depending on the surrounding environment. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has released another new trailer for its upcoming final and "most ambitious" season, which will premiere August 12 on NBC. The cop comedy wrapped production on its eighth and final season in June.Given everything that has happened in our real world since the previous season--including in the policing world--these final 10 episodes should be poignant, tackle some issues, and of course somehow manage to still be funny. While we don't really know much about the plotlines ahead, we do know that the writers had four episodes written for the final season and then threw them all out amid the political unrest in the US specifically focused around police. The indie handheld system Playdate has apparently sold out of its initial stock of 20,000 units, though the Playdate Store is still taking preorders for additional units that will go out next year. As promised, the store has not closed preorders after running out of the initial 2021 allotment. Instead, preorders are remaining open and will be shipped in waves as more are manufactured.We likely won't have complete sales figures for Playdate unless the company chooses to share them, but we do know that it placed an order for 20,000 units to ship in 2021. Since the store now says preorders will ship in 2022, we can infer that those 20,000 units sold out. It took roughly 20 minutes for the date to change, though orders placed after that point may not have kept the same pace.Each type of Playdate product is still available though, including the system itself ($180), the cover ($30), and the system plus cover combo ($200). Forza Motorsport 7, the most recent entry in Forza's simulation racing series, will soon reach the end of its life. Developer Turn 10 has announced that Forza 7 will be removed from sale on September 15, although it will continue to support online services for the foreseeable future.In a blog post, the studio shared that Forza 7 will reach "End of Life" status, about four years after its original release in 2017. While this sounds dramatic, in essence it just means that you won't be able to buy Forza 7 or play it with Game Pass anymore after September 15.The game isn't shutting down, though; in fact, the developer is even offering a discount on the game right now if you want to grab it before it's pulled from the Microsoft Store. Halo Infinite's first multiplayer beta is beginning today, and developer 343 Industries has revealed much more of what you can expect from the next iteration of Halo multiplayer. In particular, the studio showed off the multiplayer settings, which include a bunch of new accessibility options like the ability to change Halo's iconic red and blue multiplayer colors.Specifically, 343 Industries is including a setting to let you change the coloration of both teammates and enemies. While "red vs. blue" is, of course, famous as the default setup of Halo multiplayer, that color scheme isn't great for everyone. This setting will give colorblind people options to achieve more visible contrast between friendly and enemy players.In addition, the studio is incorporating a whole array of various graphics, UI, and gameplay settings to significantly expand the customization options for players.
